Last game I went 11/1/5, and got an A. CS was a little low at 118, but compared to everybody else and how often I was having to roam, 118 isn't even that bad.

Am i losing out on my S+ because i'm helping my team and not sitting in lane farming? Or am I losing it because Zed also got so many kills? I don't think under either of these situations I should lose out on my S+.

Because an S tier grade represents stats that are better than "far better than the majority of games of people playing that champion" and the grade may be pulled down by deficiencies in important areas and areas the champion performs well in.

It's "not that bad", but you know that means "it's not that good" as well. What you are looking at, an S+, is supposed to be a stat performance that is better than most all Quinn games. Now, do you really, really think that performance was that good? Remember, you are being compared to players playing Quinn, a champion who has no problems roaming.

"not that bad" differs from game to game. I could have easily just sat in lane and farmed, but I chose the better option and helped my team, which was apparently the better option. Why should I not get S+ for not being selfish? Just pointing out the flaw in the system. The current Mastery system is basically an Achievement Hunting game.

You were playing Quinn. You should not have had any trouble with doing both. Especially, if it's supposed to be a S+, an absolutely stellar game.

"Why should I not get S+ for not being selfish?" Because an S+ isn't a grade of just not being "selfish", which is what you are supposed to do. And both of those are what you are supposed to do, but you did not perform well in one of them.

Serious question: Why do you think you were supposed to get not just an S tier grade but an S+?

Are you hung on that you went 11/1? There's more than K/D ratio which isn't even that important in this game. There's plenty of stats that you can be graded on. Like kill participation. You say you were too busy roaming to CS, because you needed to help, your kill participation should be great then. It's about 4 out of 10. Damage dealt to champions, should be a lot; you were fed, you were 11/1. Your damage is only 1.7k more than the Karma who was 2/9. "Wards placed", vision control is important. You placed 5. Gold obtained. To compare it to another Quinn game in your bracket, you didn't earn even 500 more gold than a Quinn who went 3/11.

What about this game makes you think you played better than everyone else playing Quinn?

Thats my point. You are bringing up arbitrary stats that mean nothing to grade somebody's performance. The game is about winning, not stat padding.

Who cares if karma did decent damage, she fed 9 kills making it harder for the rest of her team. I died once. So another quinn got as much gold as i did, yet fed 10 more kills worth of gold meanwhile staring at a respawn timer all game instead of helping the team. If you really beleive thats better, than either youre new or just trolling.

Holy necro batman!

and i got my level 7 almost right after posting this. So instead of actually playing to win, i did the opposite. drawing the game out an unnecessary 5-10 minutes and selfishly farming cs even though i was full build and we could have ended did the trick.
