@riot, so with the Rylai's nerf, who's going to need the most help afterward?
so it's almost the end of the PBE patch (I think) and when it hits live next week, we're gonna have a different Rylai's Crystal Scepter. Here's the Details:
-
Total cost lowered to 2600g from 3200g
-
Recipe now: Blasting Wand + Amp Tome + Ruby Crystal + gold.
-
Stats & Effect : +300 Health +75 Ability Power UNIQUE Passive: Damaging spells and abilities reduce enemy movement speed by 20% for 1 second." Stat changes vs live: [-100 HP][-25 AP][Passive change]
Now what does this mean for those who use it? Well, it will be cheaper to buy, BUT it's gonna be quite a bit weaker. From what I can tell, I think riot's trying to shift it toward more of an Early Game buy, late game sell to get say, luden's echo or something. Also, it's to deter those who abuse it too much like Cass, Ekko, Swain, etc.
I'd like to ask, after the incoming Rylai's nerf, who do you think will need the most adjustment to compensate based on performance on the PBE? (I'd like to know simply because I can't test myself due to not having a PBE account) Will this cause Morde to be finally looked at to question his Gameplay health? and will Karthus have the nerf to his W reverted? What other champs will need compensation to provide counterbalance? And one more thing, will mages get something as a replacement to one of their core items now that another Big-ticket AP item just got nerfed?

for sure.
Even if things like Aurelion Sol are reliant on Rylais, they're in a ''decent'' spot rn, but Mordekaiser is already shit. And will be even more shit :P
