Mid annie deals too much damage right now
I know this is an unpopular opinion, but annie mid seems to be catching on, and someone needs to say it.
-Disintegrate: 220 +.8 AP on a 4 second cooldown (with no CDR) -Incinerate: 250 +.85 on an 8 second cooldown -Summon Tibbers: 425 +.85 on the initial burst, plus 35 (+.20) per second for up to 45 seconds, plus tibber's auto attack.
Look at those ratios. They are all amazing. Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know there is not a single other champion in the game who has 3 abilities with over a .8 AP ratio. And her damage is all, by and large, unavoidable, except by totally staying out of her range. And she has low CDs across the board.
Her ult alone deserves a paragraph. Massive base damage. Very high damage per second. It can tank skill shots and tower hits. And it lasts over half of its base cooldown, assuming it isn't killed first. And it can stun in a large radius if she uses her passive with it (which any decent Annie player will try to do).
On top of all that, she has 60 (+.2) damage every time she is auto attacked when her flame shield is on. Basically a thorn mail on steroids, when you factor in her magic pen.
Given how strong her stuns are, and given how low her counterplay is, she deals too much damage.
She either needs higher cooldowns, lower ratios, or more counterplay (remind me why her Q isn't a skill shot?)
And before someone says it: yes, Annie is relatively easy to counterpick. Champions like lux and xerath can completely stay out of her range. This has no bearing on my argument. The fact that she can be counterpicked in lane doesn't tell us anything about whether or not she is holistically balanced and healthy for the game.
