Why do I ask? Because you being always right can help with a player who says Relic Shield doesn't work with Thresh, and calls others out on being dumb.

ranged short ranged but ranged

and relic shield still works you just legit have to last hit the minions as thresh to proc the gold share/heal passive the execute does not cuz it is for melee champs

but the issue is ... thresh really needs the hp regen and hp in lane due to be very squishy early and having the lowest base armor 16 and no scaling armor per lvl in game... the only way he gets armor is via souls and items/runes.

so in lane relic i best option. out of lane i like to sale targons brace to item 3069 but hear me out... you build item 3097 item 2049 in lane and you you build item 2053 and when you have enough gold you sale and finish

The only point of this again was because someone in another post about Thresh has said that he is melee and fails to understand that he is range, can use the heal, and can use the share gold. I mean, this is info I already know but I am arguing with a player who is so dense it hurts my brain. Thanks for your time. Sorry about getting side tracked.

Like please. If you are going to hate on a champ, provide a reason why. Kat is not a clear monster champ that wins games with a 85% win rate or anything. So a reasoning would be awesome.

ok. really fucking hard to lock down where you are trying to lock her down even with targetable CC due to her getting constant resets on E by dashing to daggers. free, spammable harrass on Q in lane like Zed. very decent waveclear when using W and Q daggers in the wave to push if the laning phase calls for it.

It's just that once she gets one opening to start a teamfight, she immediately goes in and starts obliterating everything with that mobility. The resets with her passive becomes impossible to lock down.

little do you know she's actually bad in this meta. She's busted for sure, but she really doesn't shine right now because everyone is too tanky with their AD MR items. If she can't get resets, she's useless.

Nobody even bans her above gold because they're smart enough not to waste a ban on her. Get even the slightest bit of tankiness and she can't do shit unless somehow she gets fed.

Dom just happens to be a Challenger player. and Tobias Fate is a high Diamond/Master player that agrees Katarina is busted. she gets banned all the time in high elo. I'm Platinum and see her banned all the time. you have no idea what you're talking about.

she's garbage in this meta. play any AD assassin and build hexdrinker and her kill potential goes to 0 Now if u play an immobile mage, then you better prepare to get cancer.

I never said she wasn't busted. She's just not good in the meta. I think I've seen her banned like 4 times so far, and I don't even bother picking her even though she's my most played champ simply because lethality champs shit on her

Actually, she has an extremely good early game and good mid game; usually only where it matters. She, however, falls off extremely hard late game because: A. Her burst is too slow (all her damage is tied to daggers), causing her to either die to everyone else's quicker burst, and/or B. They out tank/heal her burst (not surprisingly; she has no tank shred anywhere in her kit besides absurd ratios and damage on Death Lotus, which isn't practical against tanks anyway).

she has 10% ban rate in Plat+ actually. which btw, is the highest banrate of any midlaner. even more so than Talon, Zed, Jayce or any of these lethality champs that "shit on her" by just building hexdrinker.

I mean, do you see how relatively easy it can be to catch a Katarina who doesn't plan far ahead with her shunpo use? Really i would say she is one of the mid'lane champions who doesn't outright counter any specific champions that i know of, nor is extremely powerful enough to EZ win mid lane with relative easiness, with minimal input or not too highly complex actions being a necessity such as certain annoyances (cough Yasuo cough).
