Ahri's winrate drops from 52% to 51% and what do you know. She already has damage buffs on the PBE bringing back her bullshit damage enhancer on E that you tried to implement before. The changes to her W are a buff with increased up time on the skill overall. She has better scaling on her R now for a mere 10 and 20 base damage taken off at ranks 2 and 3. Increasing her ult CD by 10 seconds at every rank is once again a non-issue considering every damn item in this game now gives CDR. You can't just fucking nerf Ahri. Every time you touch her you compensate her or end up BUFFING her ultimately in the end because you're so damn afraid of her stupid waifu playerbase and the amount of skin profit you rake in off them. Whatever man. Honestly this game is going down the shitter. I used to play 8+ hours a day and now it would be shocking if I play 8 hours A WEEK. All the big challenger streamers are frustrated with the crap gamestate and are moving on to other games to keep them from losing their minds. I don't blame them. Every time I get on this game now, I wonder why I even bothered logging in. The balance team has been pure garbage since Season 5. Keep pandering to your beloved skin sales champ mains.

Its not really a buff. its removing all the safety from her kit and giving her assassin pattern back i dont know why youre bringing up ahri when shes been garbage teir for almost a season and a half [sg-miss-fortune] also her winrate is so high because she has "SAFETY" in her kit. Ex: Her Q movement speed which they removed on PBE

There's branches of Riot Games that are actually just crippling to the company as a whole. Mainly the live balance team (As a whole) and the managerial portion of the E-sports team.

Win rate isn't everything.

Ahri has been in a pretty bad state ever since the nerfs after her rework.

She was worked in early season 5, to remove the damage enhancer and add the ms to Q which increased her win rate from around 52% to over 58% and was obviously quickly nerfed (may even have been a hotfix) to bring her in line via strict damage nerfs.

Sure, she maintained a 52% win rate thanks to her new safety. Safety which you've neglected to mention is being removed, they're taking away the MS on Q that upped her win rate over 58% before the damage nerfs. Pretty convenient to miss the biggest part of the change that is a nerf.

It's what Ahri players wanted. We were supposed to get "compensation" for DFGs removal making it harder to assassinate people, and instead had our damage guttered to negligible levels because we were given safety instead. And there's no doubting that Ahri was still strong after the changes because the safety is valuable. The point is that it isn't what Ahri players wanted. Most Ahri players would have preferred she keep the e-damage enhancer and get no compensation for DFG removal. Which is what this update is ultimately doing - more than 3 years later.

Riot's team does show blatant favoritism, but I'm shocked you're calling out Ahri for that. Ahri players may have a fine win rate, but we had to wait 3 years to get an unwanted change reverted. We're getting it after the rengar and LeBlanc reverts, among other things.

Ahri was not unhealthy with her E damage enhancer. She became unhealthy with Q MS and they're finally taking that away.

They're changing ahri because she is currently the Janna of midlane. Really hard to mess up on, but really, really hard to solo carry on, so even though she had a 51% winrate, it wasn't satisfying to try to put time into mastering her kit. They are taking away some of her safety and giving her more tools to make riskier plays, raising her skill floor AND skill cap.

Talking about favoritism but instead of talking about how they cater to the damn tanks/marksmen/support players you are talking about a champion that has a 50% winrate ONLY because of the safety of one ability (Ahri's Q which they will remove so they can put power into the rest of her kit).

Seriously how is it ok for a 37 MR Janna (After penetration) to not die in 1 combo to an assassin without even using her own shield/heals? You people wonder why supports/marksmen are so damn broken right now because assassins are garbage at their jobs unless their name is Kha zix or Katarina. There is more reasons to why but assassins being useless is part of the issue.

Not sure how they're being biased at all. People in high elo are saying Ahri deals legit no damage and Ahri players say they need to lower her safety and give her damage. They're literally doing this.

Ahri was planned to be changed before the mage itemization update went out, which happened to make her better.

It’s not really a buff though. It makes her a lot less safe to give her damage back. Her W was also nerfed with the increased delay on it.

They are removing her q movement speed which hits her harass and safety. Her R was just being buffed back up to what it used to be. They still did nothing to change w even though they said they wanted to make it more interactive.

It is not really a buff, it is just a change. If anything, it is meant to make her worse when she falls behind.

Just know that they think that changing Ahri while she has a 8% PR 51% WR is more important than changing the 2% PR and 46% WR Syndra who has an actual kit problem.

wow,people talk about working on her over X champion or changing her over a lower win rate one,we literally had to wait (almost) 3 seasons and half for having this change so why do you complain?!?
