I renemeber around s3 I think when ward skins were introduced draven lux and soraka wards and way back then RP price was understandable but 4 years after we still cant buy them with IP? Why not make ward sale weekend where we can buy ward skins with IP just like chromas but for maybe little higher price lets say 4000IP?
58697132DEL18 votesYeah i mean with the exception of the Star Guardian Ward I got in my bundle and some ones I got via shards before then, I never even look at ward skins. Like seems silly to spend that there when there's much better value.
This would solve the "IP Vacuum" created by making Runes Free too. All that excess IP still wont stop you, and gives people with all champs something else to collect. Good idea 10/10

I mean no judgment if Ward skins are your thing you do you boo boo just, none really appealed to me enough for their price (with the exception of one, i'll let you take a wild guess which one)
Nautoday1 votesHahaha, noo. I only bought 3 of them, and 2 were just because they came in a package - speaking of I have no idea why I got the championship ward, haha.
But I love getting them in chests. I probably switch between about 6 ward skins on a normal basis - usually whichever ward skin fits my champ skin best tbh.
Like I use penguin with my Freljord Taliyah and I use my Riggle ward with Dragon Trainer and my Mecha Zero w Mecha Sion, etc.

The other 2% is for the proper, upstanding Gentleman Poro ward.
That all being said, I'm down for Ward IP sales.

Chazual Fridays1 votesI can agree. I can never bring myself to spend RP on ward skins. It just doesn't seem worth it when I could put it toward a champ skin (or a crafting item for that matter). Granted, I do have the Riot Ward Skin, which I got as a Surrender@20 staffer perk, so nothing's going to quite top that, I think.
