Every time when new URF comes it feels less and less fun...

And my question is why we can't create custom games with normal URF???

ARURF was made to stop spamming OP champs in URF like I understand that and people complained even then, but now we are restricted to a certain amount of champs that "fit" the snowdown theme. We still hadn't had a normal URF with 10 ban system.

I renember 2013 URF when I stayed up all night and played it, but I fell like I'm already done with this snowdown ARURF.

I don't know if its just me but with this urf i'm getting burnt out a lot faster as its constantly seeing the same champions and same skins too, I know its festive but i thought we could unlock that as well as our other skins so we could choose between them.

not like someone gets them basically every game and it's even more frustrating as you can't even chose them but you have to be lucky for not to picking an useless champion this change didn't even fix it,someone with some luck will get them,but you can't chose your champion

as usual riot team is making bad decisions,why don't they just add some bann or leave it free as it doesn't really need to be balanced as it is a fun mode

I just had to lane against an Ashe and Sivir as a Draven. I just want to give up. Whats the point, this didn't fix anything, people still get OP picks its just I can't pick fun champs to counter them.

And no, guy who is going to come respond to my comment with "Well I -like- playing subpar champions in ARAM", I don't believe you for a second and those situations often end with a lost game because someone picked Vlad or Fizz and made left hell.

Just make URF All random and unlock all champions for it because as it turns out, ARAM accounts on URF don't function too poorly.

You tell me what's more fair. Being able to pick the champions that are considered cancer or getting forced to play a champ that's a terrible urf champ such as Braum or Yasuo ? The whole reason why the gamemode was fun to begin with is, that it WAS a shitshow... Making it "more balanced" beats the whole purpose of the mode... if i want to play something balanced, i would play norm.. Halo... Braum is not a terrible champion on urf. In fact Braum is often the best answer to some of the most broken champs. He does have some bad matchups, but so do 99.9% of champs in urf.

I LOVE playing champs like Viktor, Shaco and Urgot. Admittedly, old Urgot was utterly insane when he could spam homing missiles, but the point still stands that there are people like me who love to take champs that we like into URF; and we like fighting the op champs. Not ALL the time, obviously - cos I want some diversity, here - but seeing Hecarim spin his scythe around the battlefield like a madman, or Heimer just LAY WASTE to anything to come within melee range of him, or really, anything like that--

--ANYTHING like that--

--is fun. It's URF. I like it. Gimme that URF.

Split up the URF types, if you have to. I'll play the broken one and get stomped and love every minute of it. Bans'd be nice, but I don't care if 1 or 2 op champs get through every game. ;p

This feaive urf is pretty meh at best, I own all chps and simply because half of them don't have some kind of cold skin we will never see them...played 3 games in a row where the enemy team had 3+ ADC and our whole team we're in your face melee...no way to win that kind of match up.

Being able to use the entire champ roster is better than being forced to use a few champs.

I played this game mode 4 times, realised something was off with the champ pool, checked to see if any champs were discluded (turns out lots are), and then realised I didn't wanna play anymore.

I LOVED 2014 URF. More than any other game mode, ever. And now I can't even bring myself to queue for it.

This time URF is a gamemode where 1-2 people enjoy the match while the rest sit inside of base out of fear of getting 1 shot. So 2/10 people seem to enjoy ARURF.

Especially now that you only have a few mastery pages and are in a hurry to get the right ones for the random champion you just got. If I get a champion I don't usually play, I need to go to champion.gg to check recommended masteries which takes some time.

lel bruh.. whenever i play arurf, one of the teams gets the dank 2013 team comp and the other gets some sort of trash, making the mode INCREDIBLY frustrating... When urf came out for the first time, i almost didnt sleep.. i just played that shit all day all night.. when arurf came out, i played quite a bit, but then it got stale.. atm, i'm forcing myself to play a second goddamn game of the "porokings balls".. I mean.. Rito is doing a good job when it comes to balance... They are slowly and steadily turning urf into a gamemode about as boring and pointless as the actual poroking.. next time urf comes out, it's gonna be howling abyss and assassins only. Mark my words.. item 3070 UPDATE: Played the second game, and now i'm trying reeeealy hard to decide wether it would be more fun to spend the evening playing urf or studying.. That says something...

I've played 2 games of it and I'm done.

Why is there a limited champion pool? Why are we limited to only flash and snowball? Why have the snow balls even been added? They don't add to the experience but they take away from it. Why can't we just pick our own damn champions and ban out the most broken? Why not just add some more champion specific balance changes if they're such a problem?

Absolute husk of the mode it used to be and I can't even play two of my favourite champions in it.

Even if he spoke for 20% of the community that's still a lot of people that want it and is unfair to them to not get that chance. Plus even if someone chose the same broken champs it's not a permanent game mode I think people missed that part.

10 ban URF with a Team 1, Team 2, Team 1, Team 2, ... until each team has 5 unique bans so that we actually get 10 full bans and then let what happens, happen. It doesn't need to be balanced, it's a broken game mode. That was what was the fun of it. It's like the "Hacked" public servers in games like Halo 2, the wonkiness and the bullshit was 9/10ths the fun.

URF is ruined now. Riot has successfully ruined the best game mode they ever made, and made it the worst. I will not play a single more game of this bullshit version of it. Honestly could not wait to have the game end so i could log off. This is just stupid now. I used to plan out a weekend just to play URF all day and night, but now I wont even play it if someone were to beg me to. Its awful. RIOT why would you be so self destructive as to ruin what was undoubtedly the most liked game mode and make it like this. %100 of the time the game is decided in champ select, and it just makes me sick. Please do something about this. Just give the people what they want, and at least take this b.s. game mode down.

I am not one to complain - I can't remember if I've even written on this forum before. But if Riot actually cares about this community and our opinions, they would listen to us when we tell them that URF IS NOT FUN WITHOUT OUR CHAMPIONS. As a casual LoL player who mainly plays ARAM and RGMs, I'm extremely disappointed with this new URF. I used to love URF, tons of us did. I was already not really looking forward to this due to it being ARURF, but now it's just not even fun at all.

I have played roughly 15 matches. IN NONE DID I HAVE AN ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE. The snowballs are absolute BS and useless on anybody who isnt a burst mage, making crappy URF adc's even crappier, yet you'll roll an ad champ nearly every other game and struggle to even auto attack with maxed out attack speed.

If ARURF was made to prevent OP champs from steamrolling games, it was a total failure. I am about 99% sure this community would be much more grateful for the opportunity to PICK WHO THEY WANT AND BAN WHO THEY WANT. RANDOM. IS. NOT. FUN.

Please fix URF, no more random. I will never play another random URF again.

I'd rather Poro King than this, and that's saying something. I feel like while the champs in this game type do NEED to be winter/snowdown themed, some are more fitting than others. Snowday Malzahar and Winter Wonder Karma are perfect for this requirement. Compared to King Tryndamere and Woad King Darius feel more out of place and are only in this game because they kinda resemble a snow-type theme.

the game mode doesn't make allot of sense, blind/draft urf was shit because you kept seeing the same damn champions all the time, and riot realized so they made it arurf, but now they apparently forgot that because in this ARURF you keep seeing the same bloody champions as well

To an extent i can see both sides. I understand the community want the original. Where there are some who like being able to ban certain champions. But at the same time the community hasnt shown its improvements. The main thing people complained about when Urf first came out was that certain champions were too op. With that in the next Urf the permaban certain champions. But then you got a different set of people complaining because they cannot play a certain champion(s). To combat that it was just set to All Random. but people were upset because if im not mistaken i only used the pool of champions you own. Thus ARAM only accounts basically got the champions they wanted and people who own most of the champions never got to play as the champions they like. Now because of the theme of Snow-day, only a select few champions are on the list. But again people complain. Heck ive seen death threats to Rioters for doing this who probably didnt even have a say in how this was being done, and you believe us as a Community are mature enough to have Old Urf?

Show Riot we deserve it. Give actual criticism instead of wishing death on oneself and their family because it isnt the Urf you like. It doesnt matter what they do someone is going to get upset/be unhappy about what ever Urf mode it is. There is nothing they can do to please everyone!

Now instead of picking op champs and having fun, you get trash champs you dont want to play and the lucky 1 person in the whole game gets their favourite champion and has fun, demolishes everyone, while everyone else feels like a hostage and wants to get out of the game just to try and get their favourite champion in the next game and the cycle just continues. Really fun.

ARURF where you constantly get something you don't want, get some absurd counters against you (and you didn't have a choice) and feel useless whole game every game is just no fun
