jsut played a game agaisnt trynd... he built 0 damage items, only crit items, then when he finalyl had 100% crit he built one single AD item and steamrolled over the entire team.

Stillname1 votes

trynd is more broken with it imo... and ironically beats the piss out of yasuo

Delphinium2 votes

Just played against him as Vlad. Not a lovely story I would like to tell.

Righteous Rage7 votes

just played a game, we were behind, yas straight 1v5'd the other team in their base

Yas 5.22 is Ezreal 5.16

Anidan3 votes

Ezreal 5.16 was not on Yasuo 5.22 level. It'd take a really ancient Ezreal to be on this level, and even then it wasn't his damage or solo carry potential that was bad on him.

This is closer to release Xin Zhao. Except still not quite there, because literally nothing has been that broken since then, yet.

Most broken thing in the game was TF back when you could backdoor nexus without taking down any turrets.

damn yall piss in your pants when it comes to yasuo

Cloack (I have zero idea how you spell it) costs more so it gives more crit when you buy it, and statik now gives an extra 10%. this would have been achievable before you just had a sacrafice some runes for crit.

Gunslinger7441 votes

I see, and where would you get the 15% lifesteal and 20% attack speed?

Guy Fox Teemo1 votes

I was only talking about the 100% CRIT which he seemed to be more irritated about.

keystones, new masteries.

Before you had to take 10 crit runes and build an entire Infinity Edge (which at the time was the most expensive item in the game).

Now you don't have to take any crit runes and you can do it with just Shiv and an 800 gold cloak.

I'm a Yasuo main and even I think that's bullshit.

Guy Fox Teemo1 votes

Before infinity edge gave 15 more Ad (and 30% crit), and before cloak costed less :l, look im not saying he's not incredibly strong right now, but it's not due to him getting 100% crit slightly earlier then before.

WhatAGeinius13 votes

Getting 100% crit 3000 gold sooner is not "slightly earlier". That is dramatically earlier.

Also, IE didn't give 30% crit, it gave 20, and it costed 200 gold more (making it at the time the most expensive item in the entire game)

Honestly, it isn't that good. The mastery heals 15% of a critical hit, which is 90% on autoattacks (13.5%?) and 75% on Q (11.5%?), early game if he did 300 damage with a crit thats... 42 heal.

Seriously. It may seem ludicrous on paper but it isn't that bad. Just hope the RNGesus gods are not with the yasuo(or trynd, especially) early game and you'll be fine.

when are they ever not? It's still toxic while giving him decent sustain early.

Whiteeye Avelyn2 votes

Its not even decent, and for a yasuo to hit a crit for 300 unless he gets some early kills he would need to get more ad before getting max crit, he would need 170 ad and then crit(which he will not crit that much if he had to build the damage) and really now 42 health back on a random crit is less then a magics AA

junglerboy167 votes

42 heal is a LOT for early game sustain. That's close to a third of a health pot.

Think about it this way, even if he has 840 health, 42 heal for a crit is 5% of his max health.

ChaosThief1 votes

300 damage is assuming a crit with at least... 150ish? 180 ish? AD. Meaning he probably has everything to build the IE but no IE.

I would call that mid game. Early game its usually 100-150 ish damage, so half that heal. Maybe even 1/3.

Presents actualy numbers instead of baseless crying, gets downvoted. The hivemind on the boards is incredible.

ChaosThief1 votes

It happens. Some people just can't handle believing an outside POV.

Lazypeon1001 votes

That's not true actually. I think you are down playing just how big a 42 heal is (especially in the early game.) It's the same reason why people get so frustrated with lane Kindred even though their heal is - only - 60 + 3 x their level. It is a reliable way to stay in lane and win extended trades at no cost to the player.

Because of how yasuo's crit chance functions, while it is still relatively speaking, more rng early game, it turns out to be a reliable way to sustain. I'd wager he could actually out heal kindred in lane after this patch. With two otems (statik + cloqk og agility) he hits 100% crit chance. That means on literally everything he does, he gets that heal as well as having an INCREDIBLY flexible build path since he only has to worry about two item slots for crits.

ChaosThief1 votes

Comparing the crit mastery to the on hit bonus damage, the crit mastery seems a bit weak in comparison.

It gives 80 bonus damage on every Q and auto, unreducted and can be stacked up using any ability. I would rather take that than extra lifesteal since I can just build lifesteal.

Lazypeon1001 votes

Well, that is the point of the new masteries. It is supposed to give you choices based on your preference as a player.

I will note, that the crit mastery opens up toms of build paths for yasuo / trynd, because it removes the need to eorry about sustain since that is baked into their masteries. The problem with the other option is that it forces you to stay in combat and needs to ramp up. I like it for kog, but I don't believe that is worth sacrificing the sustain without the need for lifesteal

The reason he got downvoted wasn't because he presented actual numbers.

Brush .. as much as I love yasuo, I'll admit that warlords is just way too op on him. On anyone really, it's just flat out too good

just ban him boom problem solved

Problem is that rito is making tooooo many things that's only counter is to ban.

I'll tell you what: nothing is ban worthy.

Solo Q blind pick, all I have to say.

lol even on normal adc's it's broken, just get like statick shiv or something and everythird attack you get a good amount of healing

Ultîma1 votes

Can confirm. Yasuo was already obscenely gold-efficient with critical strike chance and this new keystone just drives him way over the edge as he basically gets free lifesteal as soon as he completes any of his core items. His damage and sustain was so high that as early as level 9 he was able to easily kill my team 3v1 - nothing could deal with him unless he was locked-down permanently by a full rotation of stuns. This needs to get hotfixed asap.

JayenKei1 votes

Yeah I destroyed yasuo in lane earlier and then he went to carry the game cause endless sustain

Demonwolf1 votes

I think that Tryndamere and Yasuo need nerfs. Not the mastery at this point.

G2 Tokisaki1 votes

with these runes Trynda , Yasuo is a bad ass..ban..dont even mention about Master Yi, makes me poor.

IG zzzdarazzz 1 votes

the new item change. crit for day. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs] I LIKE IT.

Joek91001 votes

I don't like when champions I like get buffed because then they nerf them to oblivion. Yasuo was already a strong pick and now he's too strong, he'll be banned or nerfed in no time.
