@ Riot Sion's scaling feels so weak (long post)
In all honesty if you play well and farm much you don't feel any more tanky then with any other tank.
The base stats are so weak that farming very well and gaining alot of health barely makes up for it. You need to farm about 800 bonus health to scale up as well as the average tank. But that is something a proficient Sion play can manage if the game doesn't end in 25 minutes
My main problem is when falling behind in lane or jungle you get hit twice as hard as any other tank. Your base scaling is so poor that you can not fall back on it and falling behind means you won't get to farm enough health to stay on par with other tanks.
His damage is pretty good in midgame but even that falls off in lategame. Now i do agree he should not have everything. But everything he does tends to be high risk low reward except for his midgame damage which is high risk, high reward. But come lategame he does not feel all that tanky compared to say a Malphite or Maokai. Even the damage feels weaker. At least when i play Malphite for example i fell like im getting more powerfull lategame as his damage is tied towards his armor on top of which its all magical so i can get great value out of an abyssal scepter for example.
Sion has hybrid damage which is why he does well in midgame as most of the enemy frontline has perhaps just the 1 defensive item.
But with both his tankyness and damage falling off lategame feels so wrong for a champion with ''infinite scaling'' At least with nasus you really do feel powerfull farming 400 stacks in 20 minutes and a Veigar with 1000 ap is also something you want to stay clear off.
But Sion with 1000 farmed bonus health after 40 minutes nah i can sidestep his ult then dodge his q walk out of w range after ignoring it for 2 seconds then proceed to kill him faster then they can kill our nautilus . . .
With all the nerf's he has had to his damage & waveclear on top of some minor nerfs to items he synergized very well with he feels a bit awkward in his scaling.
Would a small buff of +1 armor per level be too much?
