Riot how are we to report Autofill players that dont care they are support?

Had a Game where support says nothing and last second picks Graves

He then takes have the CS bot lane and a kill from the ADC

Then does not help her when needed just runs to save his butt.

DOes not say anything or ping all game until we say to the adc just report him in the end.

He says "I didnt do anything wrong cant report me"

Yet we lost BECAUSE of him not playing the role given to him.

HOw is this NOT reportable? If he had gone Graves and picked support items didnt cs and helped the ADC then I would be fineISH with him.

BUt he was just not caring and trolling.

I'd frown upon this behavior, and you have my sympathy, but speaking from an objective point of view...

It's not reportable, unfortunately.

Yes, we have a system to assign roles. But there is no rule restricting the way each player plays the game, and there is no rule saying you must play in a particular way befitting of a role; heck, there isn't a rule stating you must play the role assigned to you.

The positions are the meta formed, and implemented in their system, but players are not enforced to play along with the meta, and they have the freedom to play however they want as long as they're still playing. You'd have to take it to the extreme like that singed support guy - denying farm from adc, stealing junglar's camp with smite, AND not participating in the game by walking back and forth in safe area - for it to become reportable, under griefing or assisting enemy team in the form of weakening allies and not using resources taken away for any sort of game participation.

Obviously, I find this player's behavior discouraging, he's not acting as part of the team and doing so will constantly bring downfall to most of his games, but this'll at most make him a low division player, but not an offender.

Even if he didnt feed he threw the game. Its the same AS Feeding.

There was ZERO advantage to his pick or play. He might as well have been on the enemy team.

It should he report able and they should get game suspension. I hate when people ALWAYS complain about auto fill. Like. Stfu. We all get it. We all deal with it. Just a play supp once and u don't have to for the next 5Games. Every champ selec; "Fuxk autofill. Someone else take supp" then those people always end up feeding even when they get their lane. I hate it.

Why should he? Riot enforces autofill upon us. The way I see it, he's trying to enjoy the game the best he can. I'm not saying i like dealing with what you had just dealt with, but the bottom line is, it would never happen if Riot didn't force players into a position they arn't practiced on.

It was Ranked and he lost LP for everyone on his team because "WAAAA I GOT AUTOFILLED"

If you dont want to play the role DODGE.

He didnt ask if someone else would do it or anything. He was Selfish and childish and should not be allowed to play ranked games.

What do you think most high elo players are. Selfish and Childish. If anyone starts to lose things start happening. This is why I haven't play ranked... in years. But i'm not going to lie. I have had the same happen to me. The guy for the most part disregards anything anyone said, takes cs from the bot, ks the kills, but he was an asset. He took towers. That was it and it worked. The only time I will ever say report to it is when he legit feeds and contributes absolutely nothing.

I'm not trying to start some sort of flame war. That was my opinion. Please respect it and just leave it be. Have fun and good luck all.

Must not be that important to him if hes on a role hes not enjoying... Dodging has a wait penalty and you can still get auto filled the next game... So that fixes nothing.

If anyone is "waaaa" here its you, you're the one so upset you are making a post about it. You are the one QQ'ing like a child about a loss. Its a game, sometimes you get unlucky with your teammates, deal with it.
