Does Kalista need a few buffs?

I know Kalista was performing really well in LCS before her last round of nerfs. But let's be honest, last time Riot nerfed her she was completely gutted. She lost a lot of range on her ult (among other things) and this really hurt her. 45% win rate is absolutely pathetic. She doesn't need anything major, but please give Kalista a few small buffs so she can remain competitively viable.

Yes I think small buffs.

I can never get on board with buffs to this champion simply because her kit is so toxic and disgusting. She's an absolute abortion of a champion and should have never reached live servers. Keep her in an unplayable state until rework.

She has the same winrate in all elos as Nidalee does below diamond less than 45%.. so yeah.. seriously she needs a buff

The problem with Kalista is a lot of her power comes from her passive, which allows her to kite and damage effectively. She has the highest mobility of any champion in the game, and that allows her to dodge very well. Yes, her infinitly stacking spears does a ton of damage, but the only reason she can keep applying them is because she can keep up with anyone (or kite them back until they are low).

Buffing her will just return her to the monster she was, even without damage buffs. Hitting her mobility at the same time would probably leave her in the same spot she's at now - under preforming when compared to other ADCs. Her unique fighting style is really hard to balance and still feel important.

She does, but I'd be cautious of doing it until the end of the season. She is very difficult to buff without being frustrating because of her kit, so there is that consideration.

Another possible consideration is that Kalista was in Worlds last season. Not only does buffing her have a risk of altering the meta and screwing over the teams that end up making it to worlds, there is the risk that Kalista becomes dominant again. People don't like seeing the same champ played over and over and, considering worlds is for some people the only esports they watch, it might appear that Kalista is picked over and over to many players. I'm not sure if this is a consideration, but it is possibly one.
