Why this THING builds a single itme and becomes immortal?? like legit imortal only thing i've seen dealing with her is Trundle

Yeah no. Poppy gets tanky but she doesn't get immortal. Like every other tank, she starts breaking down once the ADC or sustained damage AD champion gets a Lord Doms.

Wow, just like how late game everyone has to focus the ADC if they want to win.

It's only late game if you buy the item late. Getting as your third damage item (if you're going class cannon) by mid game when the lanes are said and done and people start grouping is probably the most effective tactic.

And since tanks are meant to fall off late game, it comes as no surprise that they have a strong mid. Especially if everyone starts counterbuilding them late game.

so you can become tank as hell without trading off much of dmg since one of her rotations can easily brng an adc to half health. Oh well league of tanks. Thank god i became a graves main and i win any muchUp by default. ah

Do you people not fucking understand what it means to be squishy?

So many times I hear ADCs or full glass cannon champions complain about tanks killing them, as if that's not supposed to happen. Motherfucker do you not understand that in the grand scheme of damage and durability, you hit fucking hard but are basically wet paper. You can kill tanky champions in a few seconds where tanks fighting another tank barely hurt each other until maybe 5 seconds.

Tanks hurt when you don't build resistances. Squishies are meant to be scared of everyone so they're encouraged to kit or fight quickly. You're not supposed to face tank a tank and expect to win with zero defense items.

Malphite is a fucking mountain. Boulders hurt!

you dont cs anyway. half of the games i've played toplane this season and thye are no more than 50 every time i played vs a tank laner he was 50cs behind meanwhile he was still annoying as fuck to deal with.

Well gee, if I don't CS then I guess I can't buy my items.

Tanks are meant to be annoying. They are supposed to be hard to kill. But if they don't have the necessary damage to actually threaten a squishy champion (to encourage the squishy to kite and not just face tank 1v1 them) or even farm, then they'd be useless outside of support.

And idk about you, but I know that there are tanks that are meant to be balanced around top or jungle.

So yeah, if tanks didn't have enough damage to make people realize "Oh, I guess he hurts" then they'd be pointless to play anywhere other than support. And there are a lot of tank mains that do not want to be stuck in the support role early game.

couldnt care less aboyt tank mains and adc mains all they do is cry for the most part for years now. Tanks used to kill adcs/mages in seconds with grasp and gaunlet NO DONT NERF EM THEY ARE WEAK Tanks cant be denied in lane since they can sit in lane forerver and they cannot be dived OH HEY ARE WEAK. tanks right now are juggernauts not tanks Juggs stack health and do dmg. Tanks stuck res and they cc people but if we take the tanks atm they are hybrids they do dmg stack hp and res at the same time and only counterplay is if the retarded adc player on your team rushes a lord doms. yeh fun proactive gameplay.

If you know you can't deny the tank, why not just roam?

I mean, it's not like a tank is going to actively 1v1 you unless you make a mistake for them to capitalize on. I know I can't straight up 1v1 a fighter or duelist, so why should I?

Then just farm instead of trying to get kills and TP when you can help your team.

That's basically top lane in a nutshell. Herald buff or not, it's pretty much always been an island and that doesn't seem to change.

Except a good poppy will block your two dashes(e+r) for when she pummels you into a wall. Not sure if dash is e but I think so.

Darius/trungle/Garen beat her 1v1 usually but the point of the game isnt picking achamp solely for the lane phase..... she still scales into a demigod with all her disruption peel and disengage

Old Poppy was more fun to play but a lot of people didn't know how good she really was. New poppy is a pain, true, but I've found adding Lord Dominik's and one other armor pen item really makes short work of her. If she reduces her health switch for Mortal Reminder which adds 5 seconds of grievous wounds. You know who to use against her that drives Poppy players crazy? Garen. No mana, crit damage on E, true damage to a "villain" and even worse, an ult that can do over 1,000 true or magic damage. Three types of damage and its Garen-teed to help you out. Garen

ik i love garen vs tanks too but he sucks lategame tbh really underwhelming. he was my go to pick while tank ekko was meta. made so many shitty ekko players ragequit <3
