and do not stack. So stop building them together as if you will get a 1000 HP shield, because you won't. You only get the Lifeline effect from Maw and the shield only applies to you from Phantom Dancer only.

For the first almost 10 years of Phantom Dancer's existence, it didn't have Lifeline.

To be fair the name is the same but the effect is different if you don't read closely

Maw has a SECOND passive, where if Lifeline is active, you gain stats. A lot of people think those 2 things are on one active.

If you build maw, it's to stop mages. If that's the case, don't buiid phantom dancer. If you need protection vs AD too, build guardian angel.

But then the magic shield is meaningless. You wanna know why people buy Maw in the first place? The magic shield and magic resist. Yet you're losing a key part to the item by stacking it on another item. The shield's value is completely lost and you practically lose gold.

Then you build Mercurial + either PD or Maw, depending on if you're crit and how many other ap champs you're against.

Only reason to even build a maw right now is if you need the cdr. For an adc wits end is def the way to go for mr.

I do like stacing item 3046 , but for other reasons, to go FAST Jhin I like stacking item 3031 over anything, on Jhin in particular, I like the raw damage it provides, but I sacrifice defence and other stats for damage, which is not something you want to go for every game, but still It's funny to build multiple IE on Jhin.

Stacking PD on Jhin for MS is dumb. Runaan's gives 7% MS compared to PD's 5, and the ~~MS bonus~~ Spectral Waltz (edited for clarity) on PD is unique, so they don't stack.

This is mostly a troll build, I rarely actually build It, I used to build It often when Nexus Blitz was around (I used NB to experiment with various troll builds, like AS Lulu). It's better and more fun than the AP build, but that's my preference...

That's because Sterak's and Maw did stack years ago. Ever since the PD rework Riot made all three of their shield passives actually unique. Buying all three and getting a 2000 health shield would be broken.

They were unique before pd rework. Or atleast maw, hexdrinker and steraks
