dang i love great adcs as yuumi

when a adc actually cares about your safety plus stays on range of your Q/W you know you got a match made in heaven. i am master 7 already as her i can tell you its very fun playing her i can nuke their carries zone the assassins and finally hard slow tanks to stop hard engages with ult. if i were to trade something on her in terms of power though i would increase her W/R scaling at the cost of her Q damage a bit. ofc i though i am happy as she is also either way win/win. shes a team dependant champ. forget nautilus blitz and leonia "counters" we got a great adc with a great tank that can counter their engage. while our mage pulls more confusion on them. :D

I think the main thing ADCs struggle with is how different it feels to play with a Yuumi as your support. It feels like you're alone. All of the lane pressure is dependant on the ADC's positioning instead of the support putting pressure on the enemy laners through body presence.

The enemy laners feel a lot more confident against a Yuumi. Especially if they have high burst or strong sustained poke that Yuumi's shield and heals can't keep up with.

Yuumi's worst enemy is enemy laners that can burst down her ADC. I think getting bursted down is the fear most ADCs have with Yuumi as their support, and that hurts their laning phase a lot.

im just spamming her at silver 4 its honestly a hit/miss but main deal with yuumi is that she protects the carry and no i dont mean the ADC either if they cant carry the rengar will close the game faster. dang though shes so innocent its sad she dies :p

I don't get either of them tbh which is probably my problem. I spend more time having 10k per heal lmao well not that much but she can be hella support and it works so long as the ADC isn't dookie.

seriously try ludens echo then grab the rest if your items as you want. it really helps punch them enemy carries in the face. since your empowered Q is 80% ap ratio now add in ludens 30% you have a 110% scaling on Q plus 100 base damage talk about a good deal.

I'll give it a try, though it may not work for me since I don't really show interesting in hitting them with her Q. It's why I get the ancient coin instead of the knife most of the time.

The issue with yuumi is she can’t correct for many mistakes. So ANY mistake your adc makes is punished 2 is not 3 times Harder.

actually its at least 1.5 times harder since no she cant peel hard but she can punish the enemy beforehand to soften their hp also slowing them. her ult does protect the adc from at least one death if the distance is half to tower. shes even close to immune to ignite deaths if you have 2 charges on E. trust me im a master 7 but im learning more as playing her.

Man, i run pyke... whenever i get a yuumi she just permanently sits inside the adc and i basically zone him out the entire laning phase. Her damage is nonexistant She has no kill pressure and a small heal with high mana cost and relatively long cooldown

I consider her one of the weakest champs this company ever released

i take the hook then my adc scoops me up on my W. if the adc is in the pykes path. whatever beyond that is the adcs deal. your job is to absorb (if any) hooks pyke throws it will instant kill your adc otherwise due to pykes ad damage unlike yuumi's dash ability . after your low enough as yummi you tell your adc "i cant come out anymore or ill die" (kinda heartbreaking to hear from support) then they will recall or play hella safer for yuumi to heal. of course in a coordinated assault you do need bone plating as yuumi to survive 1 more assault until you need to stay safe inside adc.

shes a relationship-type champion where if you 2 dont work out your flaws its a automatic double kill.

thats if your laner doesnt play according to yuumis safety rules. thats the consequences. that isnt the yuumi players fault after that. but... since she has a supporty nature she can come back hard due to her free summoner heal on her E and her ability to make the enemy team work vs her to get through her human shield. she has a great comeback potential if her team follows up.

Yuumi's awesome to play with someone who loves diving in too. Give them an extra long-range slow to catch their target, give them a ton of extra AD to kill their target, give them extra movespeed to get out again. And no matter how mobile they are or how many walls they flip over, Yuumi can keep up!

thats why i use my empowered Qs to scare melees off and E heal to kite them on my host so i welcome melees and assassins. assassin? dont you mean exhaust?

Fun fact: if as Zac I grab you with my Q, even if you hide on your ADC, I can grab your ADC and smack the two of you together. Boy was THAT Yuumi pissed off. ^_^

vs zac though yuumis only option there is to deep ward but IF hit by zac is to hide inside adc on zac E then pop out instantly to provide a shield to minimize damage and exhaust the coming adc if they are in range then go back in the adc now giving the shield to adc while providing 2 zoomies to speed him out and if thats not good enough then yes a summoners heal with get them out. in some cases yuumi Must eat some of the enemy CC in order to have adc escape with or without her.

See, that's sort of my problem with Yuumi.

She's not a good support. She's an "Ezreal harder" support. She makes obnoxious dashy kits that punish people for playing skillshots even better. Ezreal, Lucian, Katarina, Ekko, and so on. She makes standalone kits better. She does not provide support to the kits that actually need it.

If you have an Ezreal in this Zac situation, he's going to survive with Yuumi's help, because he would have survived without her help. If you have a Jinx in this situation, she's going to die even if you try to save her, because she would have died alone anyway.

oh i get you know she provides extra what someone doesnt need for example she is basically a player controlled tower and add in the mobility of X champion with also a heal spell twice that also speeds up. right if im hearing correctly

Right. She increases the strengths of ADCs who generally don't need anything extra in those areas, and doesn't cover the weaknesses of other ADCs who need them covered.

She might be fun--heck, I've had fun with her in the couple of ARAMs I got her in--but I just don't think her design is good.

her design is great (in some areas) imo. the player who uses her sacrifices some aspects to make it a 4.5ish vs 5 while also being a item as a bonus. the only downside here is yes she cant carry unless she has one a good team and two a lichbane after every spell or ludens Q god aim or you can settle with a bunch of actives that enable things.

btw im spamming the heck outta her she is fun to play.

I recently had an mvp Yuumi as my support, where I picked Vayne on accident and played like shite, because I hate playing her.

Mf had 50 assists. Dealt as much as damage as I did.

You can't nuke a carry in lane....lol. You can poke and be annoying. And it all depends on who your adc is. I love playing against yummi and blitz or leona or naught. Thats really freelo. Especially if my adc cs's right, and positions right and follows up.

I think climbing the ladder as yummi would be hard but not impossible. yummi can save lives and make clutch plays. How ever she is mechanically intensive.

you would be surprised what ludens echo with her empowered Q does to a carry. if im yummi ill welcome tank supports vs me. i dont cower to them ill poke them out then itemize vs them.
