@Riot, some thoughts on GP...

So you know how Gangplank's increased Gold income through Parrrley, Bandit, and Cannon Barrage assists makes him quite fucking hard to balance?

Now, with the Thunderlords Decree changes incomming, which should heavily reduce the third issue, I thought we might be able to get GP in a healthier (and perhaps even slightly better) spot (allthough I don't think GP should get a lot of buffs because it's rather easy to break him :P)

Now what if we got rid of his Gold Plunder Passive on Parrley to start things off. Perhaps even make him one of those ''special interaction champs'' so Bandit no longer procs on his Q, I'd be fine with that.

And to compensate, the tick-down timer from Powder Keg health reaches 0.5 seconds at level 9 rather than level 13. That should really help him fit the current state of the game, but he doesn't suddenly spike much earlier because it takes him longer to reach his items.

I don't know in what spot that exact changelist would leave him, but you probably get the Idea I'm going for :P

EDIT: I know this is rather poorly written, but English ain't my first language, I'm pretty tired etc, so please bear with me c:

if they remove all aspects of his gold income bonuses, they need to give back his base stats. Those were nerfed in the first place because he got to late game too consistently for how tanky he was in lane

Yeah, there's a reason I decided to mention I wasnt sure about his spot after changes like that :P

Ya know I kinda...miss the old gp. Not saying the new one is bad, but I just had so much fun with the old one...

Most of my beloved memories of old GP was his irreplaceable personality and quotes. Damn, he was a good pirate, in the meme sense.

I liked him purely cause he was a VERY basic and easy champion to play. I'd recommend him for new players in a heart beat. I feel like league is removing easy champions and that might turn new players away from the game.

I used to main GP before he got reworked and made him so he couldn't really jungle or support anymore. I like his shctick for the most part, but if they could make him a viable jungle option again, I'd be super happy.

The one thing I'd like is for his ultimate to have a reduced cool down and more counterplay. Instead of instantly dropping a global nuke on the map, I'd like to hear a global warning of his cannons booming, and a slight delay, with his allies being able to see where he ults right away, and his enemies only knowing when it's too late. Have his ultimate function like Fire at Will, and give him the Warning Shots as an upgradable bonus, which puts it to live functionality with the Fire at Will bonus. This would allow him to make more spicy plays more often, and give his opponents a little breathing room.

Allowing the Bonus damage from Powder Keg to work on Jungle monsters should do the trick. But that would also give him an easier time killing some jungle camps while laning for some bonus gold... Maybe Hunter's Machette's lifesteal to monsters could work on Kegs, like sheen does now?

I will wait for tanks and cotc divers to go away before starting to play gp again. had great success with him in the squish meta last season. not this time around

GP doesn't really mind tanks. He cares about Jayce, Riven, Kennen etc.
