Whenever there's a Vayne on my team i just pick a tank
That bitch is gonna carry regardless of how bad she plays. Might as well pick for her late game.
Against her I pick for the early and hope to god we can end soon enough.

While there is some merit to this (and I understand this is partially comedic), I just want to point out there is more to a person "playing bad" than lane phase performance.
We all know Vayne is pretty handicapped in lane phase to begin with. A lot of Vayne mains don't even really attempt to win through lane phase anymore. I know as an ADC main when I play her I just 90% focus on farm and only fight when it's gonna be a free kill or summoner burn with little to no risk.
My point is this. If someone get's down 15-20 cs, gets killed, and loses their tower. It's unfair to be like, that bitch played like garbage and still carried. Vayne is not designed to carry through lane a lot of Vayne mains are mediocre at lane because it's not worth the risk to try and snowball through lane, so they just sit in lane and wait until she becomes a threat.
The idea that lane phase is most important and we should be able to win every game through lane phase is a misguided idea that is in part responsible for the game being the snowball debacle it is now. Let's say one player is 7/10 skill set in laning, but his team fighting and map positioning is only like 3-4/10, the player on the other side who's skill set is the direct opposite at 3-4/10 in lane but 7/10 in team fights and map movements. In a balanced game both are equally valuable, viable, and have an equal chance at winning said game.
i agree for most... but

getting down in cs isn't always an issue, but having all this (less cs, lose tower and getting killed) usualy with will castrate most champ. and in this case i thing she played bad most of time if its happen.
In my experience if all 3 of these things happen to a Vayne it usually has more to do with how the enemy team focuses her over her own poor play.
Like assuming you are playing an enemy bot lane of roughly equal skill to your own, when I play Vayne I'd expect to be at least 10 cs down and lost my tower before I kill theres.
If I get a lot of team help that's really the only way I see Vayne taking tower first, and conversely if Vayne is being targeted heavily by enemy team during lane I'd probably expect her to die once.
