Runes Reforged has made the game boring

While interesting and new at first, all RR has done is limit choice and customization. Every champ has their optimal build/keystone. Old runes at least allowed small, but differential, customization on top of the masteries. Now it feels we just have masteries.

I've found myself much more bored with league in pre season. My friends list has dropped dramatically; talking to them I don't think I'm alone in feeling this way.

After 4 years of league, I think I might be done.

I think they did a pretty good job with RR. Old runes were the same way for the most part, there were optimal runes for champs with some edge cases (Lethality Sion, AP Xin) but overall it feels better.

Helps new players alot, most of my new friends are enjoying not having to grind out runes to play specific champions.

I called this the moment the new runes were released. Maybe its because I'm a onetrick who had 10 runepages of which 7 were for cheesy play, but seeing the new system my inner child is dead, there is nothing to do with this boring stuff, you are chained to a small set of keystones, with a bunch of stats that make little to no difference if you swap them out for something else, but you cant abandon the stats, because they are better than what you get with any alternative keystone, so the current system is pretty much "pick one of the 2-3 keystones that work fairly well" , there is literally nothing to do with this stuff, I'm done with the game, I liked the game more when my champion was underpowered, but I actually had some stats to manipulate in order to gain some imbalance to play with.

I could not disagree more. I've loved runes reforged more than I ever even cared for old runes and masteries so far, and it's only been getting more fun for me, not less.

Don't act like champs having optimal build paths is unique to RR - it was the same in the old system, too. Now we just don't have to worry, as newer players, about losing to someone just because they had tier 3 runes against my tier 2 runes or something lame like that.

There is little to no cost to experimentation and honestly, runes feel good as they are right now. They feel like they matter. So many of these runes have an actual visible impact, too, and that helps a ton.

Runes Reforged is my favorite update in a long time.
