Obligatory promotional matches and the 'fix' are stupid thread

If this 'fix' you put in place shows anything is that your MMR system is bad and/or arbitrarily forces you to not only climb to where your MMR really is, but even through ranks lower than that. Why call the initial matches 'placement' if they basically say, "hey play alongside and against last seasons plats, diamonds, high golds, and if you won most of them, we will put you in low gold"

Then they put in a 'fix' and make you play one more game alongside those same last season plats and golds, and if you win, great! Go down to Silver you scrub.

So what you've told me so far that even if this is a 'new' queue, the rankings of other players don't mean shit. Like you think those players are suddenly going to be bronze and Silver players too in a 'new' queue.

I don't care about a soft reset when the season begins, because basically according to my MMR there's going to be a huge influx of people in the bottom ranks and not much visibly to differentiate. Sure MMR is supposed to match you then similarly skilled players, BUT WHY THE HELL AM I SILVER 2? I'M PLAYING ALONGSIDE AND AGAINST PLATS WITH A WINNING RECORD!

TLDR:Your system is stupid.
