Ward and ping.

i think i do enough of those, and anyway if ur just gonna give me that stupid advice why bother using ur time writing a comment

Stupid advice? Look kid, if you did ward and ping, maybe you wouldn't be in silver. But you clearly don't. What do you want me to tell you? Play some FotM champ? Now that's shitty advice. Ward and ping wins games, and I guarantee you don't do that. Don't pretend you're anything at the game at silver and have the audacity to reject advice you asked for delivered in a nice way.

how would u know if i didn't ward or ping enough. I spam so many pings to help my team it keeps on saying you must wait b4 issuing more pings. U don't even bother to look at my match history at all but ur willing to give me that stupid basic advice people give just because they think they are good at gold 4

Nahui1 votes

Well apprently I did something right and you didn't.

The point isn't to relentlessly spam pings. It's to ping effectively. You wanted advice, you got it. Or you can keep doing what you're doing and stay silver. I won't lose any sleep over it.

and how would i know that ur not some random boosted animal in gold 4 or five or wherever u are. and the thing is, i didn't mean i spammed them relentlessly. I spammed them to give my teammates a headstart to safety or go for a good fight.

You don't know what I am, but it's safer to assume someone is the rank listed than boosted based off of only looking at their rank. It'd be silly to assume anyone is boosted simply by seeing their rank without seeing gameplay.

And how you ward isn't something I know. However, constant warding and pinging all over the map is a factual way to climb. Not only MIA pinging your lane, MIA pinging other lanes, pinging anything that you believe requires any bit of attention. So it's not useless advice. My point is you asked for advice and were given advice without sarcasm, so it shouldn't illicit a hostile response. If you're looking for specific kinds of advice, say that in your post. Otherwise, you allow yourself to be open to ANY advice, and that's what I did.

And I guarantee you don't ward and ping perfectly. I don't, Plat players don't, diamond players don't, etc. But they do it better than the ranks below them. And that's why they're there. It's never just luck.

work on dominating the laning phase, that easily gets you to high gold

poke the enemy laner when they go for cs don't take bad trades know your power spikes play a champion that has a strong laning phase

poke the enemy laner when they go for cs don't take bad trades know your power spikes play a champion that has a strong laning phase The poking the enemy laner when they CS and trading I actually think are pretty high level skills for low Elo players.

Most lower Elo players poke too much and don't CS enough. I actually think that tactic is a higher gold one.

I will suggest play literally 2 champions and two roles. That's it. Don't diversify your champion pool, don't counter pick: just only play ranked with those champions. You will get better with that champion and then you will be able to focus on other aspects of the game because you will completely understand when you can and cannot engage in fights.

Seriously, just farm. You will most likely out CS your opponent if you just focus on farming while he pokes you. Learn to farm under tower with the champions you play.

Stay out of the bottom lane. Don't try to main ADC or Support, too many variables in lower Elo to deal with the potential mess that can turn into.

yeah obviously your csing needs to be on point.

But sometimes i just see people focus so hard on csing and not missing the cannon minion, that they take 50 % of their hp not to miss it.

Just a really good laning phase gets you to platinum.

having atleast 7cs/minute should be the mininum.

Playing super passive and just csing won't give you an advantage when climbing ELO, you need to learn to make plays

Yeah I agree, but I think most Silver and Bronze players try to make plays and they fail because they lack understanding of power spikes, wave management, and positioning. Once they die early they fall behind and a majority of those player have no idea how to play from behind.

I don't even think it was until I hit Gold that players I played with understood things like trading, farming under tower, and playing from behind.

I think they should just focus on fundamentals more and then build upon those skills as they climb. They will hit a wall playing passively and just farming, but by then they will be SO good at it that they can begin to add other tactics to their kit.

They should figure out when CSing is safe as well, but I think playing passive can easily get a player out of lower Elo if they don't die early and their main scales well.

I do play Nasus so my perspective may be a bit different than most, but when I play on my smurf sometimes I notice players just in silver and bronze just doing absolutely ridiculous stuff to try to "make a play."

I mean some players in that Elo have no idea how to not die in lane early. 0/3 at the 10 minute mark is not uncommon.

I understand about the cs stuff because even tho my cs is around 5.5-7 per minute, I miss alot of the early game cs so i'll need to master that.

My laning phase is good, however when it's possible to actually get a kill on the enemy midlaner (which is always possible since i harass them alot), the junglers in silver are extremely bad and don't know what to do.

ELO HELL IS LIKE THE PRISON IN THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. THERE IS A ROPE CLIMB, A CLIMB UP A STONE WALL STRAIGHT UP A JUMP THAT ONLY A 12 YR OLD GYMNASTIC GIRL CAN MAKE ALL WITH A BROKEN BACK.

GOOD NEWS IS ONCE YOU MAKE THAT CLIMB AND GET OUT YOU STILL HAVE TO DISABLE A NUCLEAR BOMB AND FACE THE ENEMY THAT ORIGINALLY BROKE YOUR BACK.

ONCE YOU DO ALL THAT YOU CAN BASK IN THE GLORY OF ELO SIMILAR TO VACATIONING IN THE FRENCH RIVERA.

the best thing you can do til you are able to dedicate more time to the game is improve at fundamentals of the game. such as last hitting, wave control, map control , warding, objectives. if you stop worrying about winning and focus on those with simple mechanical champs by default you will climb. at 1st you will lose when you focus on those objectives. but in the long run that will make you a better player and being a better player will help you climb out of bronze/silver . there is so much to this game, its alot more then being able to 1 vs 1 your enemy. its damage foresight , knowing match ups, cooldowns, when you can push advantages, when you cant. how not to feed. how to get feed. how to position correctly.

now if you just want to climb and gain elo you can learn the new champs each month spam those til they are nerfed or other champs buffed to counter them and abuse that. but that wont directly have the long term improvement as the fundamentals.

pick a champ and a lane that can carry regardless of how bad your team is and how fed they are.

because trust me... you will get idoit's who feed.
