How to use morgs ult right?

Paladin 0f Life··1 votes·710 views

I've tried and tried but I just die or don't get it off. Other people use her and use it right but I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I walk up. Press R then Zhyonna and they either walk out or I die. I wait for my team to bait them then ult but I just don't do it right and im not sure why

Okay, so a question first to help give a better answer: Are you primarily a Mid or Support Morgana?

I've tried both mainly support though.

So with Support Morgana, in my experience, there are three main ways to do your ult right.

  1. As follow-up to someone else's initiating CC: Think back to the times you saw it work. Did the Morgana player walk/flash in after an Ashe arrow landed? A Lux binding? A Zyra Grasping Roots? Their own Dark Binding? Etc. You're the "chain" in "chain CC" with the Zhyonna's there to ensure someone else on the enemy team does not break that chain. If you manage to catch anyone else in the second half of your ult, (either due to one of your other teammate's CC keeping them in range or the enemy getting creep/body blocked) that's a nice bonus but not your primary goal.

  2. To ensure the enemy team DOES scatter: If you're working with a Pick Comp or on a Comp where you're the primary initiator for whatever reason, you actually WANT the enemy team to try and run out of your ult because it will break them up, since most will take the shortest route to get them out of your circle. This will make it easier for the rest of your team to jump on the other team's squishies and blow them up before the enemy team can regroup. Again, the Zhyonna's is more to ensure they HAVE to run instead of giving them a way to disrupt you instead and stick together.

  3. Discourage enemy engagement: If you're part of a Siege Comp, your ult is more to make sure the enemy team stays back and does not try to break the siege your team has on their towers. If it's up, they may not go in because they know you'll R + Zhyonna's and thus stun them as they make a lunge for your team's squishies. And if they do go in... well, you do just that.

The key thing to keep in mind in all these scenario is that your main goal is meant as disruption with the stun being a nice bonus if you can get it.

Hope that helps!

it took me a while to learn how to use it right.

first off you can move and CAST SPELLS while u use it

so you uf cast it while they are in range and u can chase then and then snare then it works really well

it does take a LOT of practice to get right. but is very rewarding when u do.

you can use it to reveal stealthed units too.

also.. have your E on quick cast if u dont normally use that. it help a lot
