If you want to be truthful, when it comes to a game that involves rank, it is fair to say rank is = to a person's intelligence on said game.

To assume a person who is bronze has the same game knowledge as someone in masters or so is crazy as it is.

Otherwise the lower rank would end up higher rank

and intelligence dont necessarily equate to skill.

lets take pro sports for example , football... the smartest players arent always the best player in terms of talent. for example: jason garrett ( current head coach of dallas cowboys graduated from princeton ) was back up to troy aikman where troy aikman was by far a more gifted and talented player ( is in hall of fame)

jason garrett couldnt compete and achieve the same things aikman did as a player due to lack of skill not intelligence

You're using a completely different argument than what you want to say friend.

You can't use physical conditioning combined details when it comes to game knowledge.

Your argument could only be valid if you went by coach vs coach.

On this game knowledge does = skill. the only way your argument would even be considerable is if one of the people has a physical disability in one of their hands that causes a delay.

A better comparison for you would have been the superbowl 49ers vs ravens the harbaugh bowl.

then saying you have less mental understand of a game cuz you arent high rank is wrong.

cuz mental ability dont equal physical ability. and when it comes to this game there still is physical ability that has to happen in order to be at the higest of elos

so someone who is silver can have a great mental understanding of the game but physically not able to perform at a diamond level

If you actually think you need a decent level of physical abillity to play this game, then my examples to prove you wrong are well known targets.

Scarra 2.Voyboy 3.Imaqtpie
SKT T1 Wolf (cause he's even admitted he doesn't do anything but play games)

^all of them are very lazy and barely do much but play league or whatever game they feel like playing and keep a constant Challenger level play because They have a Mental understanding of the game, which is why they aren't bronze.

yes ... reaction time, dexterity , hand eye coordination

physical abilities but they arent horrible with physical ability just not top tier ... they were above average physical skills and great mental understanding.

and yet scarra , voyboy and imaqtpie wouldnt be as successful in the pro scene now then when they played. the over all talent has scaled higher and higher ...

just like when Reginald was mid lane for tsm... he can not compete on the pro/lcs level any more barely did it then

None of them were above average physical skill, they were extremely out of shape with voyboy being your closest to being in shape.

And between now and then he had stopped playing for awhile, got less inactive, became more obese, but stays challenger because of his understanding of the game.

I know less than diamond players but i also dont play ranked. op.gg me and see how my norm and ranked winrates place me at higher elo, i just dont play. what you dont see is the deaths in ranked are results of me expecting team to engage for easy kills then running away its quite fun when the yasuo disconnected for 5 mins but you still win cuz you stomped your laner.

Not really, it's a knowledge vs skill argument.

Players can know a lot about the game and not have the skill to climb. Some players haven't climbed because they just don't play ranked. You can't assume a player is an idiot just because they have low rank. Doing so ignores significant factors.

Not exactly. Lots of people have plenty of knowledge but don't play ranked consistently, and thus don't climb.

I know several people like this, capable of playing on-par with higher tiers of play but don't play ranked.

you can't just assume that a person who is low rank is unintelligent. There are a lot of other factors that play into a person being low rank.

I think it's only really apply able if they have a decent amount of games, let's say you're silver and have 300 games or even just 100, you probably are at the place your skill level puts you at. You could have quite a lot and a decent amount of game knowledge (won't match a challenger/master player or whatever) but not grind or play a lot of ranked.

I feel like your rank says a lot about your knowledge if you've played a decent amount of games but doesn't reflect all you know.

I don't think it's realistic to tell a silver 3 player they don't know what they're talking about because they're silver. That's just being a dick instead of opening a discussion imo.

Getting high rank takes hundreds of ranked games. F that. I'll take my 40-ish games, gold 5 0 lp and end of year rewards and have fun with normals and ARAM.

Don't assume everyone is hardstuck at whatever rank they are at.

Every time that I HAVE asked people on boards "what are some tips against Darius Illaoi Vayne Heimerdinger Kennen Renekton Fizz Akali Orianna Trundle Volibear Vladimir XinZhao AND Jayce " I am met with 1-2 comments that are obvious such as "build Armor/Mr first" and toxic comments.

So I'd rather not do the same thing and expect a different result.

When in reality all you have to do is kite him and bait his q then make sure you stay away if you have his ult on you
