missed opportunity in lux's design

Lux doesn't need a buff, and this would certainly be over the top, meaning this is not a serious suggestion, but- does anyone else think- ignoring balance concerns for a minute- that lux's W should be a mini Khazix ult instead of an aoe shield? Her play pattern is all about catching people after they make the tiniest mistake, nailing them with a q and then comboing them to death. She's kind of like a long-range assassin, honestly. Her current w helps her contribute to fights and bide time while she's waiting for the right angle, I guess, but something that gave her a tiny stealth window and a burst of speed would make her kit pretty much perfect, because it would let her play way more aggressive and burst mage-like. She doesn't make sense as a pseudo-support, which is what she is now. Her burst damage is so amazing it feels like her W is just there to fill space. I understand that her W was originally supposed to be an AoE invisibility spell, which is why her lore talked about her being able to go invisible. They scrapped it because it was broken (obviously), but I've always thought it would've been cool had they just removed the AoE part. Not that it's a good idea now; she's had a high winrate for a really long time and something crazy like this would easily tip her over the edge, causing lots of problems and complaining and bans and etc. So it'll probably be a missed opportunity, an "oh man, it would be cool if-" forever.

or maybe it's not cool and i'm dumb w/e

Not every champion needs mobility. Crazy fucking revelation.

i was more thinking of a camouflage ability a while back.

she woudnt become entirely invisible, but very hard to see and untargetable by point and click abilities. especially when she stops moving. imagine her being almost completely see through.

would really fit into her lore.

fun fact by the way. her original w used to stealth everyone it hits instead of applying a shield. the problem was that it apparantly caused a load of bugs at the time, an since riot used to work differently back then and kept a tight schedule of releasing a champion every 2 weeks instead of taking their time to really polish them, they just changed it into a shield.

In the early stages of her development, she did have stealth on her W, however it would have been a nightmare to balance and it was changed to the shield. Her lore actually hints at her being able to make people/things disappear.
