"Average game length is 30-45 minutes."

So I played three games today, and all that happened in every one is:
I'm starting to think there's a meta centered entirely on Graves and AD assassins.
How does one assassinate a Graves who has a bonus 40-120 armor and MR?
By believing hard enough.
or remind him about his cigar.....then he kills himself out of shame.
So
s taunt for graves is op?
"Can't light cigars on the bottom of the sea."
:Ok
Not kidding. Buy a thornmail.
A point blank Graves AA onto someone without Thornmail will deal an insane amount of damage to him, since each pellet procs the damage.
CC... oh wait, he just dashed to the side and I'm dead... I'm not high elo, but for that reason we are already planning on banning graves every game...
So many bans, so little time.
I wonder how many new champions it will take until its 4 bans per side... I have been wondering this for a while now.
First two picks will just about decide a match. There is so much power out there now that 6 bans doesnt cover it, and those first two selections will be paramount. No matter how bad you want your thresh, you have to consider grabbing that open darius/fiora/graves/veigar or whatever makes it past bans for the sake of the team and your own sanity
Really? My first four or five games I saw a handful of AP Mages (I expected to see none particularly because of the AD changes) and no Graves players. I also only saw a couple of assassins. Mostly everyone was playing bruisers/tanks. (Gnar, Hecarim, Nautilus)
There will still be a lot of people testing things out the first few weeks... The meta isn't set in stone the day pre-season launches.
I fogot how reckless and ragefull preseason was xD
Its like everyone full expects yasuo and some of these masteries to go unchanged into the regular season... People forget that PBE is like a closed beta, pre-season is the open beta, shit happens, shit will be fixed etc. etc.
While each season obviously has a different meta, I don't see the big deal over all the tears because of pre-season changes...
People just forget that untill january, sh*t needs to be fixed. Thats just how it is. So it would help if people could just stop complaining and just explain the issues they encounter.
The more people abuse the broken things, the faster they will get fixed. You want yasuo to get fixed? play him every chance possible. Same with graves, tryn, yi and whoever else. just abuse the masteries and items until they clearly show a much bigger impact than the other changes. This will then give rito the info they need to nerf or over nerf something, which will then lead to more balancing later into the season.
Not a hard concept, I understand you understand that... but doesn't seem like 90% of people do...
Every game i played that had a graves on it..the team with graves on it always ends up winning..and no joke with the new masteries a
on graves is always a guaranteed won lane with the graves 4/0 by the end of the laning phase....same with
...that bonus damage is insane now..
who wants to play AP when you had to face tanks with increased MR on each of their items and had to use shitty masteries on them?
RIP all mage mains
(including me)
I want whatever Riot is on.

Shut your stupid bandwagoning gobs and read the quoted post, cause you're all seriously forgetting how this shit works. [zombie-brand-facepalm]
Yep. Now its like 20 minutes. Whoever gets the most fed juggernaut or ADC wins...
This game gets more and more snowbally

This is hilarious actually. Even in season five games were [at least in my opinion] very much decided [or one sided] by the 10 minute mark. Although at least back then [two days ago lol] there was a lot of comeback potential....this....I think I'll mainly hang out in robocraft until this absurdity blows over.

I used to play a bunch of robocraft. I havnt played it in months now though. When i played there was only like a deathmatch/capture the flag mode with no respawns.

If you think there there was comeback potentional in season five you are to new....
Comebacks died in season5 .. and now they are kicking the dead body
Never in my life have I made so many comments or post about ,and for, league as I have today... Games are just one sided and the team who snowballs first win's...Game length's have been from 15-25 mins.. No team has yet to make any kind of" Stand or comeback" from what I've seen and played Thus far..Its no fun.. Unless you are 10 years old n like picking the wings off of flies and burning ant's with a lens.. I've won more then i' ve lost so far...And that's how I feel...like im playing bots.. And I know their trying their best but there is no struggle,no doubts or uncertainty that add's to the suspence and fun of these games..Its Kill or be killed... Im done playing league until they make changes..Or im just done league all together..TY for the years...( since beta).. But this is now officially a crap game...sell it to Korea... Peace
Mine are either 20 or 50 mins Lol and not "20-50" its either surrender at 20 or keep killing/respawning/throwing until someone wins.
just had a 20 min game. I will admit we were a little behind about 3-4 kills or so. but then out of no where towers fell and buffs were given out. I don't feel 1-2 mistakes should cost a game from the heavy heavy snowballing that is occurring. I could understand this amount of snowballing in a challenger or master game but not in a normal with people in silver and bronze ending games this quick.

Yeah a 15 minute team fight can win games now. Never had that in bronze/silver before.
First...It's hard to get into a game that only lasts 15-20 minutes. Second, I feel really bad for all those junglers going sated-devourer. Solid update rito. Solid. Haven't had a game yet today where anyone made it to level 18. The game was always over before we got high levels. I think they were trying to get rid of tank meta, but they over did themselves a bit here.
We played a game yesterday where we were behind almost 20 kills...(my hec game) It all turned around when I stole baron, lived and a few team fights later we aced them and took out 2 inhibs. we pinged back a good 30 times... but our lucian just didn't understand the concept, getting him and our top lane killed(top lane tried to save him...) which then lost us the game...
I was then blamed for not "tanking"(only by lucian because that throw was real...) while the matches do seem a tad snowbally, it still isn't over if the other team doesn't know how to close out a game...
I had a slightly different result.
Bough rageblade and started dominating top lane.
Serouslly though rageblade has overtaken Trinity for for Irelia. Yes it is that good and even better on Jax.
For me it actually is.. I would honestly say my average game is 40 minutes, some times it lasts 60 mins sometimes 20
15-30 min now.
the new item change. crit for day. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs] I LIKE IT.
30-45 mins... more like 20-30 mins... of which 15-20 is just one team bitch-slapping the other nonstop
30 minutes is the average game time, but 40 minutes is a long game at this piont. Its more like 25-35 at this point which is HotS level speed... though at least the forts in that game take several heroes to kill and don't snowball your team an extra talent ahead lmao
Mind have been around 30 minutes actually...
There are still out of meta-ish picks i can use, thank god for Evelynn
I haven't played a game that's lasted longer than the ff at 20 since the patch came out. ive played 147 games.
147 games in 2 days?
147 in 2 days is 73 (rounding down) per day. Assuming all games at 20 mins, no queue time, no champ select, no loading, no eating no sleeping, that's 72 games a day...
yeah. I play too much. ik.
that guy did the math it snot possible
My trick is playing ..er nvm im not gonna talk about my secret weapons.
I don't know what everyone is talking about, with the shorter games. I have been playing all day today (11/12) and my average game is about 30 minutes with my longest one to be around 40. People just aren't adapting to the changes yet. I for one love the rift herald; it actually brings some usefulness into the top part of the map besides red buff and baron after 20 minutes. I love the fact that you can push really fast after 7 minutes. If you lost mid tower @ 8 minutes, that is either your fault or your junglers. What is most likely going to happen if they continue pushing past the T1 turret, then your teammates can come gank the laner and get gold (global gold?) or they will counter push other lanes and you should capitalize that opportunity to counter. If turrets are so easy to kill then it sohuldn't be a problem, no? Lol it just seems people are having a hard time adapting. I for one love the changes, love it!
