Why does Xerath's ult have 2 levels of counterplay?

Honestly.

  1. Range indicator. Tells you to right click as if you are moving a Mosquito.
  2. Projectile Landing Spot. Move from there. Ezreal can snipe you from across the map with nothing to warn you but this guy has a range limit and hella restrictions.

When Ez gets you from across the map it's because you aren't expecting it or paying attention, not because it has less counterplay than Xerath's...
