@Riot, you can made models bigger but not smaller?

During Sona's rework in PBE her Diminuendo power chord had a cool effect of making the targeted champion smaller for the duration It was removed though, apparently something messed up But this was a AMAZING idea!

Got me thinking, what if all effects that reduce damage output made the model smaller? if there was a way it would help the champs who utilize these effects since the effect often goes un-seen, no one bothers to follow up on a champion who has some hardly visible green particles around them, it actually looks like they are being buffed, but i'm sure that if you see a Teemo-sized Riven, you would mess her up because she physically looks weaker. It would be awesome if Riot could look into this effect, damage reduction abilities are just so damn unsatisfying since they are virtually invisible

Trundles ult actually makes the target smaller, why couldn't Sona/Urgot/other reduction ablities have the effect if is actually in the game and working?

What you fail to keep in mind is that Riot hates Sona. They won't actually give her REAL visibility if it means one less excuse for more unjustified nerfs. Which my Spider Sense is telling me will come fairly soon. Her last nerf was in patch 5.1, she's long overdue for several more.

Because she has the Lulu problem: when she is a powerful support, she becomes a nightmare midlane, but in order to balance for that, she becomes a useless support.

Except she's never had that problem. She's never been a problem in midlane or even viable mid. Her kit just doesn't work there.

I would like to see them try this, they would get more backlash then the whole better nerf irelia fiasco

Rito isn't adverse to backlash. Matter-of-fact, the "balance" team enjoys it, they laugh every time they read our angry posts. Rito welcomes backlash: Cassiopeia, Veigar, Sona, buffing Lee Sin, et cetera, add infinitum.

Wouldn't it be a bad thing to make an enemy (and their hitbox) smaller? It makes it harder to skillshot and click on them!

RedCyclone2 votes

maybe it doesn't have to change the hitbox, I mean look at DJ Sona, her hitbox is WAAAAAY larger then the model entails because her original model has the dress what is part of the hitbox
