@RIOT AFKERS AND DC

I am taking a long break from the game until I feel like I can function again. I have had six games in a row where someone afk, dced, griefed to cause drama, and many more. I feel like the rise in this has a lot to do with all these little college and high school kids that are not in school right now. Unfortunately it was a problem to begin with as well and it is just annoying. If someone goes afk or dc in a ranked game, they need an automatic ban. In a normal game give them a warning or w/e . . . but some of these guys are purposely leaving the game and causing drama.

I went from finally pulling myself out of bronze IV to bronze II and then back down to bronze IV and now in bronze III. All because you cannot ban these players that have clearly had internet problems to begin with. I have no sympathy for people that do this in raked anymore. SIX GAMES in a row . . . I think I had one in between but he trolled. You do not realize how ridiculous it is to try and have fun . . . and then try to climb out from your rank . . . to get someone that says, "f*** I am laggin." leaves "OMFG I am still laggin." dies and leaves for fifteen minuets and then comes back, but die again and leaves again. He returns again and stays in the match. This is a nuisance. These people know they have problems from the start. They shouldn't be allowed to play ranked or the game anymore if they are aware of this.

a thing should be added where you cant start rank queue if your ping is over 9000!!! sorry couldnt hold it, but really, if its over 9000!!! fk again, but honestly, if its over 200 ping u cant start rank queue. that would be good

Ping fluctuates infrequently, so there's no way you could implement a system like that properly.

Only the person that goes into the game can make that call if their internet will fix itself or not. Also what if it's completely fine before the game starts or in the middle of a crucial moment you suddenly have an issue.

I support your premise, but the real world invalidates it. Say I was in a match. I am playing, and helping my team. Suddenly bad luck, and my internet connection fails. It isn't my fault, but would I receive a ban?

If you can prove without a shadow of a doubt that it indeed happened, you'll get punished.

Chances are, you wouldn't. I played a match, and my computers hardrive failed. My computer stopped working. I never got leaverbuster, or a ban.

I've had moments where my internet just decided "Nah I don't like working today" and wouldn't reconnect me. The other person on our internet was a-okay and not affecting them one bit. It wasn't until the match ended that it fixed itself. I somehow reconnected in time for it not to count against me.... :/

I think it goes by how long you are afk and they take a note of it. If you get a warning after you reconnect in the lobby, you will be banned . . . or so they say. When I first starting playing I got banned for a week I think . . . . and then I came back and never DCED again for fear that I would be permabanned. It seems like they are being extremely lax about the entire thing now.

The problem is that most all players that DC know they are going to and continue to que in ranked games. They know they have computer problems and internet issues. They decide to throw caution to the wind and hope they don't DC in game. Unfortunately that is not the case and they leave. Half of it are people that are aware of their problems, the other half is trolling or briefing because they have nothing better to do, the other half are players that are not playing in their country or just DC for no reason. If you DC once in a ranked game and get a warning . . . . fix your problem before you que for another ranked game. If the player does it and it happens again then they need to be banned.
