Twitch needs an attack speed growth nerf and his stealth duration reduced by 2 seconds at all ranks

The long duration of his stealth in lane gives him way too much safety and zoning potential, and at later ranks way too much safety in team fights.

People need more chances to catch the rat because right now his laning is way too safe for how well he scales into the mid/late game. People also need better chances to spot him out during team fights before he can ult and unload. RIght now Twitch is basically the Master Yi of ADC except that he has 850 range, and doesn't even have half the risks that Yi has to take to 100-0 a backline.

So I have an idea to cut down on Twitch's crazy teamfight safety. I am not an expert on ADCs, but the most frustrating thing about playing against Twitch is being obiliterated from long range before you can even react, so what if his ult was changed to function like Lucian's Q. The idea is that his ult would not increase his auto attack range at all, but his auto attacks would still pierce behind the target for the full 850 range. I feel like this would make it much harder to just turret-mode an entire team, because he has to get 300 units closer to his primary target before unloading his damage.

I dont think that will solve the problem.

He needs the bonus AD on his ult removed. His ult gives him so many powerful things, why does it need to give him bonus AD too ?

If it doesn't give him the AD, in lane he would just get increased range out of it, since it is highly unlikely that both bot laners are standing on top of each other.

For an ultimate ability, that seems a bit lackluster. Yes, it is stronger later, but having basically no ultimate in lane kinda sucks. =/

no vayne is the master yi of adcs and no one had a problem with twitch until the meta started shifting.....all hyper carries are hyper strong right now..you just see twitch the most because assassins still cause havoc and they need a safer champion you can shit on twitch with both trist and kogmaw......your blamming a character that hasn't had any patching done in a while for item changes that made a meta he can be strong in.....for the first time..in how long? this wasn't some super buff patch that made twitch strong...this was an item patch that made tanks strong and kept certain supports from being primary picks and certain characters picks over others...which put hyper carries back in the meta and a character (you probably forgot existed) suddenly rises back up and is strong..and your reaction is...

"waaa hes broken nerf nerf nerf"

Twitch and Kog are meta because it's easy to protect them with enchanter supports and their now really good items. If divers and assassins weren't so shitty atm, you would probably be seeing more Vayne than either of them, but her strength of being slippery isn't worth much when it's so easy to protect a longer range carry that does even more DPS (and range is safety...against CC trains especially, which is the meta right now because it's the only practical way to kill marksmen in teamfights).

if only we had good old item 3075 with 30% return damage

you would simply build 1 on each teammember and he would suicide everytime it was glorious

What we really need to do is figure out what we want him to be. Is he a teamfighter, a late game carry, a early game assassin, a poison/stack champion? He has a bunch of ideas and at the idea of the day it boils down to - I can pop out of stealth and melt people from 800 units. I'd rather figure out what we want out of him and then pull power from one aspect and put it where we like it. Like what we did with Azir.

His base AS is what needs the nerf, moreso than the growth (that could be hit too though). Base AS affects how valuable bonus AS is on a character, and Twitch has one of the best base AS values of any ADC in the game. I think nerfed the bonus range from ult, especially at lower ranks would also curb his midgame power appreciably. His E also does a pretty ridiculous amount of damage when stacked. Stealth duration isn't very impactful, but the radius at which he can be seen is, and it's pretty damn small atm.

I mean if they nerfed anything on twitch it would probably be a bit of range of his ult. so if they took like 15-25 range off. Though i'm not sure if that would be the right thing because he would miss a lot of kills and even just a little bit of range increase helps his safety in overall teamfights as he has no dashes or any reason to really play twitch without his ult.

detection range changed from 500 to 600 in order to give counterplay (base aa range is 550)
