Have any of you jayce players tried ghostblade? It seems like it would be good for his kit. Along with blade cleaver. He seems like more of a Juggernaut now.

Wtf, he's the opposite of a Juggernaut. He's squishy, mobile, and with team utility.

One of Jayce's prime strenghts is his long range poke, which i rank top 4 in League (Xerath, Lux, GP). For that u need 2 things: AD and Armor pen. LW was by a distance the best item for his poke. The reason Black Cleaver is not so good on Jayce is that it gives no armor penetration on his poke, only when he is starting his combo. If you're against a full AD team, the following build used to be very good: Murumana, LW, BC, Frozen Heart, Randuins and Tabi - that enabled him to jump in and blow people up, and live to tell the tale. However, 1 enemy AP champion renders this build useless, and swapping Randuins -> Banshee makes him not tanky enough to get his combo off, and u wont 1-shot anyone. WIth the LW nerf towards squishies, its even more so (maybe run Yoummus, but it is worse than old LW)

If they have an AP, u must go full damage. And then u have no % total armor pen (like GP, Lux and Xerath), which just makes him deal way less dmg than before - and being on the weak side (47 % winrate) before converted him into straight UP territory (44 % winrate)

And please, he is called Jayce, not Joyce
