Ashe vs Yi is a bit too silly...

Most counters have some way to be outplayed through superior skill or something. This matchup just doesn't. Ashe can literally not deal dmg to yi because she CANNOT crit him, making for something that is in no way fun, just unfair.

Thats what we call "counter pick".. Olaf is the same way when he ults @ her ^^

though a key difference is that olaf doesn' thave a gap closer and master yi gains increased movement speed and reduced cooldowns with a heal that completely counters her new damage method

btw, has anyone checked to see if infinity edge stacks with itself or not on her new form? it adds 50% to crit damage, but her crits follow a new system that riot said was supposed to benefit from this

Olaf does gain movement speed. He can also slow with q.

yep, just yi gets a much larger boost

And Ashe is overpowered right now, whereas Yi sucks

Funny how that works

I've seen very few master yi that suck. His damage and untargetable state make him viable by all means. with his passive he still has the highest auto attack speed (though the damage it adds is outdone by a caitlynn with runaans, lol)

Adc's shouldn't be trying to 1v1 assassins in the first place. Adc's provide sustained damage, assassins delete squishies.

An adc like Ashe who relies on mostly autoattacks will always have a difficult time dealing with Yi. If he uses his Alpha Strike as a gap closer, does not have full health, you might be able to stun him with your ult and defeat him. You'd have an easier time with Graves, but...

It's just not favorable in a 1v1. That's why you get a support, and that's why tanks are useful against assassins in such a manner.

I mean technically Yi is a melee ADC, which is slightly but meaningfully different from an assassin, but yeah, if he can get on top of her, he's supposed to win that fight 1v1.

Yeah, you got a point. He does do a lot of aa damage, and he is technically an attack damage carry (I guess that makes him more of a fighter), but since he's melee he's supposed to win a 1v1 if he's in melee range (range is part of a power budget).

The point being that you can use flash to reposition behind a wall, stun him with ult, and still not have the dmg to kill him, even if you're ahead. THAT'S not supposed to happen mate. i can kill yi on any other adc in that situation. But ashe just has NO way of doing it. Ever.
