Hitting skillshots doesn't feel rewarding anymore

Like why would you play Nidalee if you can just go Rengar buy item 3147 and one-shot people

Why would you go Velkoz if you can just play Talon, have a better waveclear and can one-shot people while clicking on them

Why playing Ryze when you can just go Vladimir and click on people to deal the same amount of damage ? Or why wouldn't you go MasterYi when you can just right-click and be a "hyper carry" ?

Why take the risk to play a skillshot oriented champion if your skillshots are dodgeable, while there are other champions who require close to no skill to one shot their opponent ?

I would go Nidalee because she is my main and maining a champion that requires that much skill feels rewarding.

Playing something like Yi would just make me feel like I'm playing with barely any of my skills.

That's my point. Why do some champions require more skill, to basically do the same job as some that don't take any ?

Because doing at as an easy champion doesn't feel rewarding or make me feel good about myself. If I do it on someone like Nidalee, it makes me feel prouder than Yi's fucking point and click Q.

they require less skill, but also have far less versatility. You always need champs that help you learn the macro abilities and so don't require as much mind-space on their kits, but there's a reason you don't see most of those in pro play, because the rewards for mastering the high skill champs generally means an increase in power, and more versatility in the types of things you can do.

ill give you this one. the difference is still that nidalee doesnt need to get in your face to hit you hard. she can just hang back and throw her spear over and over. there are no repercussions for missing the thing.

this is a matter of risk vs. reward. why should nidalee be rewarded more for taking less of a risk to chunk out another squishy?

Why would you go Velkoz if you can just play Talon, have a better waveclear and can one-shot people while clicking on them

if Talon blows his entire chain on a tank or fighter, they laugh it off. Velkoz can hit even tanky targets like a truck with a fully channeled ult.

Why playing Ryze when you can just go Vladimir and click on people to deal the same amount of damage?

not even close to true. ryze e + q deals a lot of burst damage, and he can throw his abilities out in rapid succession. vlad has burst and decently long cooldown windows. ryze is a machine gun compared to that.

if you consistently hit your q, you shred through your opponent a lot faster than vlad would.

Or why wouldn't you go MasterYi when you can just right-click and be a "hyper carry" ?

as opposed to ranged hyper carries who do the same?

That’s the thought of someone who made a completely broken champion. Most of the new champs are 3 stars, and were broken at one point. I’m guessing High Difficulty champs do more dmg when Unlocked to their true potential. But what you’re saying is true. Why do 1 difficulty champions do the same amount of dps as a 3 Star. In one match, I got absolutely sh** on by a Veigar as Zoe. It’s stupid that a champion that has simple point and click abilities got a pentakill, yet I need to actually predict where my opponent goes, in order to hit them, or sleep em, and gets killed by a person button mashing and clicking

Veigar is almost all skill shots lol, only his ult is point and click and it's a finisher. Annie is probably a better example of what you're going for.

Because damage is so high and reliability > risk. Duskblade and electrocute + ignite reduced overall risk so assassins (especially AD) don't have to take much risk (at least in lane). Nidalee has to take risks so her reliability by default goes down.

You can't use Ryze or Nidalee in arguments. They're massive outliers.
