Change soraka if you must, but PLEASE DONT REMOVE THE SWEETSPOTTING

Please, I understand if Soraka's healing is a problem, and I fully endorse the idea of moving her self-healing over to Q as incentive to max it for self-sustain, But dear lord please don't remove the only skillful expression that soraka had in her kit outside of Equinox placement. Sweetspotting was a great incentive for Soraka players to try and actually bother aiming their Qs instead of randomly throwing them out for fringe damage. It was a really cool and interesting part of her kit that gave her depth to her rather simplistic kit.

As someone who was fond of being more pro-active as a soraka player, and using well aimed Qs to keep my oponents on their back foot, It really saddens me to see this go, (And yes i'm fully aware that these aren't the full changes to her Q), but replacing it with a cookie cutter AoE slow feels lazy, more like its removing interesting gameplay from her than adding interesting decision making.

If this goes through, and Starcall turns into a generic slow, then you are actively taking the most complex part of her kit (Properly leading Qs to get your conditional CC off). Ultimately this may make her Q>E more reliable, but I'm faily certain i can speak at least partially on behalf of those who dislike Soraka's slipperiness to say that giving her more reliable ways to keep you off of her is not the way to make her less frustrating to play against. If anything, the new consistent slow effect will make her even more difficult to get to (since she no longer has to lead her hits to peel for herself) and just dumbs down her already simple kit.

PLEASE, Do not remove this element of her kit. Or at the very least, don't remove the most interesting part of her kit that isn't dedicated to being a living battery. There are other ways to shift her power that can actually ADD counterplay to her rather than homogenizing her to the point that she has no true advanced mechanics in her kit.

I really don't get the reason for removing the sweetspot.

My only guess is they were that the extra damage that came with hitting the center combined with healing on Q now would make Raka mid viable.....
