Um Riot can we NOT change Fiora's Title?

Maybe its just personal preference, but I feel like a title of "Grand Duelist" fits Fiora's personality and ego much better than "Mistress of the Blade" which while i know what its going for, and as badass as i know it can feel, it just doesn't seem to have the same level of authority or prowess the former does.

Then again maybe i'm overreacting since the change is literally en route to the pbe right now.

What do you guys think?

Update: For anyone late to the punch, Fiora is confirmed to be remaining a Grand Duelist, so conflict avoided! Much thanks to Ant in Oz for the clarification!

Whoops, our bad. Fiora will be reinstated as the "The Grand Duelist" in the next update.

In the future, it's possible that some Champs may get new titles, but only when it clearly fits their thematic better - it's not something to change lightly, or without careful consideration.

But for Fiora, "The Grand Duelist" does the trick - there's no need for us to change it.

I prefer the former, tbh.

"Mistress of the Blade" just sounds like they're forcing her gender onto the title, and giving it a more "vampish" or "seductive" tone to it. I know I sound like a feminist, but that's what it feels like.

"The Grand Duelist" is just that, a duelist that is indeed grand. Fiora is the duelist of League, not some seductive assassin you'd find in film noir. She may be sexy, but it has nothing to do with her abilities. This is League of Legends, each title of each champion should represent their legacy, what they will be known as when their name is lost to history. Fiora doesn't seduce people or assassinate them (or both), she duels people. People may remember her grace, but after ages and ages have past they will remember her for her dueling, not her swagger.

I gladly accepted the most recent changes to Fiora, but this is something I cannot condone.

Honestly, Mistress of the Blade just sounds so cringe worthy, whether or not if it was being applied to Fiora.

Why? There is no reason to change her title. Its just forcing a gender on to her character. Her talent with the blade is INDEPENDENT OF HER SEX.
