Please go and read the manga Deadman Wonderland (or watch the anime Idc.)

And no, I'm not just some random weeb who throws his favourite series around. For those who are not familiar with the title: it's a story about people who get some really weird as super-powers connected to their blood. Also they are all locked up in some sort of prison but that's not the point here.

Blades of Blood, Blood Bullets in different variations, Sticky Blood usable like webs, Internal Blood Manipulation to boost durability and physical strenght of certain body parts, burning blood (has to be spilled first), poison blood, etc etc etc - if you are looking for weird shit you can do with blood, that story is your first adress to look for ideas.

Just a little hint on where to find some inspiration. I'm expecting much from this rework if I'm honest as Hemomancy/Blood-Bending has so much potential thematically.

Pretty sure it's Repertoir. He seems to be the figure-head of the overall rework for all the mages. Not necessarily the individual champion guy, but entire mage update.

I strongly suggest that Vlad's Q should remain the same. If anyone reads his lore, he will realize it is his signature ability.

Of course he will need to keep his "blood draining" ability, but one could change how it's implemented in his kit - because how it is right now causes some serious problems to game balance and health

For example instead of an instant cast, Vladimir has to "infect" enemies with his blood first before draining a significant portion from their body. (That could work via basic attacks for example).

He does not drain blood, he drains the life energy within the blood. In other words, he sucks life, not blood. Still, a mini game for his Q to heal him sounds interesting.

Uhh he is a Hemomancer tho. That literally is a "Blood Mage" - or a "Bloodbender" if you wanna go with Avatar terms (Interetsing concept for hard cc tho...)

He steals their blood mostly. The lore describes the way to the temple as a parade of bloodless corpses (even tho they are nto as poetic about that). The only way that would imply eating is him absorbing the essence of his master - and so of all essence and knownledge of the hemancers that existed before him.

I doubt he can do this to random people that do not know how to turn themselbes into blood.

Read the tokoyo ghoul manga it's much better and I feel that would be a cool concept for vladmir. Imagine it he eats people just like the ghouls did. But his kagune is made purely out of his victim's blood.

He doesn't eat people tho... A kagune made of blood (or rather soemthing similiar) does also appears in deadman wonderland, so the concept is not really unique to that story... While Tokyo Ghul is one awesome read I don't think it really fits Vladimir tho...
