Does everyone get the AoE spread?

good question

It says the spread happens to single targets. The wiki states that Karthus Ult is treated as an AoE so no, it does not get the spread.

It procs on both his E and his Q, though

I didn't see its effect when he ulted though, so maybe it's an exception.

EDIT 2: Nevermind. Luden's Echo only hits five people and Karthus ult hits... five people. You get the damage but it doesn't jump out in an AoE.

Q and E are AoE if they hit multiple targets, IF. Other than that they can count as single target, in fact his Q does more damage to single target. His ult will always hit multiple people so unless 1 person is alive it will always be treated as AoE.

I just played him on the PBE

Hitting Q in an AoE will still pop the damage, but if you hit 2 people, only 3 others will get the spread. Same with E and I'm assuming his ultimate is the same. I'd like a Rioter to clear it up because the effect of it going off is hard to see with his giant green snot beam in the way, but I'm pretty sure it adds the extra damage to everyone hit. It felt like a really noticeable damage spike.
