If I want to climb in this game

I have to play like..... 3 champs. And only those champs.

But it gets so goddamn boring after a while.

How do you combat the game becoming stale in this situation? Like.... if I played nothing but Jarvan, Sejuani, Amumu I would be gold by now. Easily. I have 55%+ win rate on all these champs.

But I get so tired of playing the same thing all the time.

Look at my match history. This is what happens when I play my main champs. Basically freelo. Pubstomp all day. But its so damn boring.

Do you have any strategies or things that you do to avoid getting bored on your mains?

Yeah, unfortunately how the game is balanced-- around professionals who change their champs based on patch notes-- isn't how people actually climb. It's far too easy to just pick a strong champion and master them.

If you don't wanna get bored playing your mains, don't pick boring mains. Jarvan, Sej, and Amumu are extremely one-note. And extremely similar in play style. Dash in, ult. Use W and E, but they don't ever change how they function and aren't essential.

Or, that said, at least pick mains that aren't as similar as those three specifically. Zac and Vi are similar enough for you to like, but different enough to fit, I think.

heres a trick. play ranked with your mains and norms or aram for your variety. or just practice the fundamental skills for league so thoroughly that it doesnt really matter what champ you are. (farming, trading, laning, pathing, recon etc)

That kinda makes sense.

Playing champions you have the best success on is obviously going to net you the best results.

That would be like me saying

"I have a 54% / 55% win rate on Vayne and Caitlyn but I'm going to try and climb with my 42% win rate Sivir"

NO you have to cheat is the only way to get out of the Troll/AFK RNG of lower Rank unless you Duo with also a SMurf

Do you play any role other than jungle?

Have you tried adding other junglers to the list of champs you can play well so you have more options to either first pick someone well rounded or fill in gaps? Jungle is a little different than other lanes in that it's more acceptable to be able to have a wider pool as long as you are good enough with them.

i still think mentality is a huge part of climbing,some people dont know when to stop playing when they are tilted.smurfs can be an issue but since i started one tricking i dont seem to notice or care about them.
