I really enjoy playing Pyke mid. It is not OP. Support is by far his better role. I do think that he may be a bit too strong as a support, but I think that he is balanced as a mid laner. If you are to nerf him, please make it so that mid Pyke isn't affected.

Pyke's whole schick, one of the core concepts of his design, is that he is a support assassin. Riot will do everything in their power to make sure he can't work as a normal assassin because it's important to them that Pyke is played as a support and is only a meme in other roles, like Rakan mid.

AP Alistair mid is not a thing. It works specifically to counter an assassin like Zed, but it is not one of Alistair's roles. He's not as effective mid as he could be bot.
You're more than welcome to play any champion in any role, but champions are designed for certain roles and won't be as strong outside of it.
