If you're really interested in supporting multiple playstyles of ADCs, remove crit from Runaans

Building crit on any champion that would want to build a Runaans just feels awkward, especially since the crit changes. The item is meant to be an enabler for an onhit build, but building it without infinity edge is pretty meh so you shoehorn ADCs like Kalista, Twitch, Varus, Kog'maw, and (hypothetically) Kai'sa into buying infinity edge to play nicely with their runaans, which none of them want to do.

Some of these champions build it anyway because it's so integral to their kit working, but it never feels good to finish since it was made a crit heavy item.

Have it build out of a Recurve bow and two daggers instead of a Zeal and two daggers. Give it more attack speed and the on-hit effect from the recurve bow but ditch the crit and keep the combine cost the same since it would be such a big power spike in an onhit build.

That's my suggestion for how to support multiple playstyles of AD carries [vayne-pose]

Yes because on-hit builds even need the boost and that is what crit builds need, to have yet another item taken from it

Misread as Randuin's there for a minute lol. Actually I agree, having the item split between on-hit and crit builds makes it feel awkward to use for either.

I dunno, I like how it can fit into a crit build but also allow some flexibility. Like, if the enemy team is slightly tanky with a mix of armor and health and your team composition allows a more glass cannon build, you can grab item 3153 item 3071 instead of LDR for stronger teamfighting.

If it didn't have crit, you would need to replace your boots with it and I don't think games last long enough for you to build a seventh item. It serves a decent dual-purpose imo.
