It also creates a problem where champs with powerful stealth go unimpeded in the way they do their job.
I'd define powerful stealth as the more longterm styles, like Eve, Rengar and Twitch have access to. I don't think these champs are particularly made weaker by the lack of a pinkward trinket to deal with them. These champs are more sensitive to the number of pinks on the map than how readily replaceable they are. A pink in a choke will pretty much shut out their ability to use their stealth effectively at all, you don't need to be able to grab and move it every 90 seconds.
Conversely weaker stealth abilities like Akali's and Wukong's get absolutely screwed when the ability to easily replace pinks exists. If you upgrade to pink trinkets you'd flat out remove an ability from their kits. That's the equivalent of making a trinket which blocks a skillshot on a 2 minute CD or something along those lines and it's really not OK. It's bad enough that you can buy pinkwards and remove a large section of a champs kit for 75 gold, the last thing Riot should do is make that free.
As for rebalancing stealth I wouldn't be surprised if the solution to stealth is removing its counters. As long as pinkwards revival stealthed champs stealth will be pretty terrible. The best solution is probably just to allow stealth champions their stealth regardless of the situation, name Eve's passive something else because it kind of is anyway and balance around stealth not being pathetic.
You wouldn't even need to do that much balance anyway, Rengar's already getting reworked, Eve wouldn't be affected and past that the majority of stealth champs are bellow average to complete gutter-trash. The only champs I'd see being problematic if you couldn't break their stealth would be Kha'zix and Vayne TBH.
If pinkwards just didn't reveal stealth then I'd be absolutely fine with a pinktrinket. It really wouldn't matter anyway, it would be worse in almost every situation imaginable than a redtrinket anyway.
