So reworked Conqueror is a massive buff to Crit champs

Old: 8% of your damage is converted to true and heals you.

New: 15% of damage done is healing.

So for every 100 damage done (225 as crit) heals for Old: 18 New: 33.75

New is mitigated by armor so you need 118( 53% reduction) Armor to be the SAME as Old. If you have less armor then 118 then New Conqueror heals the enemy for more. If the enemy has any Armor Pen then you need even more.

I say this because on the PBE Yasuo, Tryn heal for INSANE amounts with Conqueror and Ravenous Hunter (30% total just from Runes) Because Crit is 225% that means the healing is 67.5% for a crit champ vs 30% for a non-crit champ.

The healing now is 15% of damage POST resistances. The old healing was 8% PRE resistances. It's not directly half.

Crit champions aren't healing for 67.5% of the damage they deal, they're healing for the same 30% of their damage as everybody else with those runes. Their damage multiplier is a gold investment, which non-crit champs are investing in raw AD, or more defenses. You can't just say the healing is stronger on a crit champ, their gold investment is the same. In fact, I'd argue that the healing is better on non-crit champs, since their damage comes online earlier in the game when sustain is more relevant.

The healing is going from pre mitigation to post mitigation, meaning it is weaker against targets with at least 88 armour.

It's going from 8% to 15%, which is under a 50% increase. You do not need over a 50% increase in armor to handle it.

You do realize that building crit tends to mean you have less AD, right? None of the zeal items (pretty much the required way to reach 100% crit) have AD on them.

Note my comments about Yasuo and Tryn, two who have Crit built in. Both only build 2 crit items then go AD

In preseason, that is no longer true.

Between item 3508 , item 3031 and item 3095 , we'll have 3 items with 50+ AD and Crit Chance. Add item 3094 or item 3087 to that, and you have 100% Crit Chance with missing too much AD.
