Should Katarina have some sort of wind-up when she ults before the daggers fly out?

It'd be nice to have some sort of a "stun her NOW!" window before she starts shredding the entire enemy team apart.

I don't think that'd break ADCs at all. Not all of them anyway. It'd completely break what's left of post-nerf Lucian though.

And I don't think a 1 or 2 second charge would hurt kat too badly.

ADCs already have invisible math behind how many critical strikes they can effectively get in a given period of time. Its not purely the percentage shown, there's limits on how many can occur in X seconds.

I am aware. But they can get more than one per ten seconds. If crits had a ten second cool down, ADCs would be worthless. This is the level of nerf you're suggesting for Kat, if she had to wait before her ult did anything she'd just ... Not have an ult.

well, someone did suggest giving her ult a ramp us but increased ult damage in compensation cuuz let's face it... people kinda need more time to cc her... her burst occurs REALLY FAST

She can have that 1 second delay before it starts doing damage, if it works like Morgana's and Fiddlestick's ults then. That is literally the trade off they offer champs like her and Vel'koz... Instant speed ult damage for interruptability.

Crank up your volume, all of her abilities can heard clearly by both teams and by watching and listening to her you can 99/100 times tell when she is going to ult (she gives herself away, honestly, they're all very distinct noises). Most engages, if the Kat is smart, you will see and hear her q into the masses before she leaps in to shred them. Stun her then, if the stun is a lock on ability/basic your champ should follow Kat to where she shunpos.~ If the Kat isn't smart, you're probably not going to die from her ult anyways. <3

If her ult had a windup I can assure you Kat would be entirely worthless, as it is already a priority to stun her when she ults... and that ult damage is the only thing Kat brings to the table, ever.

The sound effects of spells help me tremendously in countering what's about to pan out~ (But I'm weird and memorize sounds anyways, so maybe I'm the only one benefiting from this?)
