Yasuo Changes

These changes are my creation, not something going to the PBE.

Yasuo Yasuo

Base Stats

  • Base Health reduced to 490 from 518
  • Health per Level reduced to 80 from 82
  • Attack Damage per Level increased to 3.5 from 3.2
  • Armor per Level decreased to 3.25 from 3.4
  • Base Magic Resist increased to 32.1 from 30
  • Now gains 1.25 magic resist per level
  • Movement Speed increased to 355 from 345

Passive- Way of the Wanderer

  • Removed Double Crit Passive (Intent) from THIS part of his kit
  • Reworked Resolve: When Yasuo moves or attacks an enemy champion, he gains Flow. He can use Flow to cast his abilities and shield himself. Whenever he casts an ability that expends Flow, Yasuo gains 20/25/30/35/40% (+4% per 100 AD) of the Flow Cost as a shield for up to 2.5/3/3.5/4 seconds. Resolve Shields can stack and the duration is refreshed upon gaining a new shield, but the same ability's Resolve shield cannot stack with itself. (Meaning casting Sweeping Blade over and over again will simply refresh his current shield instead of continually increasing it, but casting Sweeping Blade and then Wind Wall will provide him with an increased shield equal a % of the costs of both Wind Wall and Sweeping Blade)

Ability 1- Steel Tempest

  • New Passive: Yasuo's gains 120/140/160/180/200% of the normal amount of critical strike chance from other sources. His critical strike damage is reduced by 20/15/10/5/0% however.
  • Now generates 2/2.5/3/3.5/4% Flow for every enemy unit hit, increased to 4/5/6/7/8% for enemy champions
  • The third strike now instead is just like the second strike, but generates 100% more Flow
  • The third strike no longer knocks up and no longer has extended range by being a tornado, now being a normal strike (for now, see ultimate changes)

Ability 2- Wind Wall

  • Now costs 75% Current Flow
  • The duration of the shield provided by this spell's Flow cost is increased by 50%
  • Duration changed to 3/3.5/4/4.5/5 seconds from 3.75 seconds at all ranks
  • The cool down is now reduced by 1.5 seconds every time Yasuo uses Sweeping Blade through an enemy unit, increased to 3 seconds against enemy champions
  • No longer blocks ultimate projectiles (Now says it blocks all BASIC projectiles)
  • Yasuo now gains 100% (+15% per 100 AD) movement speed for 2.5 seconds, decaying over the duration, when passing through Wind Wall

Ability 3- Sweeping Blade

  • Now costs 16/22/28/34/40 Flow
  • Now has a (+25/35/45/55/65% bonus AD) ratio

Ultimate- Last Breath

  • New Passive: The third strike of Steel Tempest will now turn into a tornado, gaining extended range and knocking up all enemies hit and dealing 10/15/20% increased damage
  • Upon being cast, Yasuo gains a Resolve shield equal to 50/75/100% of his Current Flow for 2 seconds, but he uses none of his Flow to create it

The goal of these changes was to nerf Yasuo's early game while buffing his late game while also removing some of the very annoying parts of his kit, such as infinite mobility without cost and ultimate destruction of... ultimates. Basically, Yasuo is still a force of nature late game, but his early game is much less frustrating to deal with.

This is a really really really really really good idea.

These changes seem to be very good, I like the idea of a late game monster not having such an oppressive laning phase. One question i have though is will his third q always be tornado after level 6, or only when ult is off of CD?

All of these are straight up nerfs other than the crit reduction going down as you level Q. His already weak early game has been gutted to all hell and his E has been completely gutted into uselessness. You people need to accept the fact that Yasuo is not problematic or broken and the real problem is you people not understanding how to play against him and your refusal to learn to do so.

I don't really have a problem vs yas early game, my problem is when ANY champ has infinite mobility

He doesn't have infinite mobility if you actually understood how he worked
