seems like an ad melee carry build who has no HP and no MR so have your ap mage carry kill them

Well Malzahar can't.

Not much more i could do than use and land every skill on them. If that doesn't kill them, then the rest is beyond my control.

in that game you have item 3116 item 3165 item 3143 item 3020 as Malzahar vs a full build adc and wonder why you cant kill him?

and the top laner Lucian that you are making this post about with that build didnt even touch the amount of damage that the bot lane Draven did.

draven was the issue not the lucian

and vs a team with two adcs no one built frozen heart and you dont have a item 3157 which would be useful vs their entire team comp let alone you get item 3020 instead of item 3047 vs a Draven Khazix Lucian

your adc has no defensive items nunu support gets banner vs a team with 2 adcs that gives them easy wave clear your lee sin jungle did nothing the best player that game was the top lane nasus on your team

who is usually bad vs champs that can kite him

Cant kill him because for some reason bought item 3143

also having 2 damage items vs 5 item adc probably is another big reason

Well you've got to stay alive long enough to kill them, when you're not a burst mage.

The item was actually a great purchase against their team, but just not good on my champion. So i had to make a decision between this disparity and whole in riot's design.

Buying a ZH, wouldn't have done much, because i can't preform the damage i need to kill them while in stasis nor does it provide any real tangible durability difference without 2 or 3 health items included. It made more sense with limited goal to buy the ideal item to counter them, than the ideal item for me to deal damage to them.
