The Difference Between a Stun and a Knock Up With All the Tenacity is a Little High

Meep Man··1 votes·727 views

Currently we have:

item 3111 - 30% Tenacity item 2138 - 25% Tenacity item 3053 - 30% Tenacity Legend: Tenacity Rune- 30% Tenacity Unflinching Rune- Up to 50% Tenacity

The worst is that all of these can be reasonably combined, making stacking Tenacity almost innate, especially with the Runes and Elixir. Just getting Mercury Treads and the Legend: Tenacity rune easily gets you to where Tenacity soft caps, halving the duration of every non-airborne crowd control that affects you excluding suppression, but that can be cleansed with item 3140 unlike airborne affects.

What do you guys think?

They could be reasonably combined, yes. But most champions aren't going for all of those at once.

Also, knockups are significantly shorter in duration already, anyways.

Actually most stuns are only longer than knock ups by about 0.5 seconds at most. The only stuns that often last a significant duration longer are ones on abilities that deal no damage anyways, like Rammus Taunt and Fiddlesticks Fear.

Alistar Blitzcrank Chogath Galio Gragas JarvanIV Ornn RekSai Sion Zac

To name a few that all have airborne effects that last a second or longer like most stuns.

Um, I am going to disagree on this one. Last time I got hit with a Morgana Q, I got a LeaverBuster penalty for being AFK for 5 mins.

Ok, but did you build ANY Tenacity and how much? Also, that's a root. You can still do everything but move during it.
