All ranged champions have 30 base MR + 0.5 growth p/level, and all melee champions have 32.1 base MR + 1.25 growth p/level. What's up with making Talon an exception? It's kinda weird. Couldn't he be buffed in different areas?
LyingOnLine6 votesThey want him to do better in the midlane (which mostly consists of mages who do magic damage) and not show up as much toplane (which more consists of melee champs who do physical damage)
Jaspers5 votesThey said it was because he was 'taking too much magic damage' after missing MR runes from the old runes. So their solution was to give him the highest base MR and a little less armour.
I wonder what is the difference between him, Zed, Fizz, Ekko, Kat or any other melee midlaner.
Alex h87214 votesZed fizz and kat all have easier mobility/defensive tools than talon, zed w/ shadows Kat shunpo fizz E untargetability, and ekko has Q to waveclear more easily from distance. Before talon gets ult he doesn't have any defensive mobility unless he's near a wall.

He's already pretty billable and more gankable than other assassins. The mr doesn't change how talon will play against you and how you should play against him

Souji1 votesWhat range? His Q is super short and the 'gap closer' is linear. It's easy to accidentally Q to a minion rather than enemy too because of how short it is. Only range he has is his Rake. Or leaping over walls I guess if you count that.
