I propose swapping the scaling for his Q and E, making it so his Q scales with health and his E scales with AP. Since Shen is wanting to get off his Q for damage mainly, I find it strange how it doesn't scale with what he builds. Then his E, which is mainly used for the Taunt and Dash, gets the scaling. Anyone else agree with me here?

moving more damage on to a spammed skill results in more damage, aka a damage buff, which he does not need

Fellix7221 votesYes because we should totally force a champion to go one build at all times, seriously I build Shen Full tank with the exception of Nashors tooth and Rylias Crystal Scepter. If you cant understand how awesome those two items were for post rework/nerf Shen then it really is a waste of time trying to talk to you.

Fellix7221 votesI won every single ranked game I played using that build. the only Ranked placement game that I lost was when I was forced into ADC.
Its not your ideal build but for me I crunched the numbers and maximized his damage by building him with attack speed and tank items. Thornmail is a waste on him, or at least it was. Now that hes just a bullet bag I guess it suites him. But then again there are many other characters better suited for that role so why would I waste playing Shen when I could play Say Rammus?

Give a slight amount of his monster/minion damage to a very small flat base damage on his Q so he does better early/mid game
Currently he does MAGIC DAMAGE: 3 / 3.5 / 4 / 4.5 / 5% ENHANCED MAGIC DAMAGE: 5 / 5.5 / 6 / 6.5 / 7% NON-CHAMPION BONUS DAMAGE: 30 / 50 / 70 / 90 / 110
Instead it could be MAGIC DAMAGE: 10+3% / 14+3.5% / 18+4% / 22+4.5% / 26+5% ENHANCED MAGIC DAMAGE: 10+5% / 14+5.5% / 18+6% / 22+6.5% / 26+7% NON-CHAMPION BONUS DAMAGE: 20 / 36 / 52 / 68 / 84
Quepha1 votesThe AP scaling isn't to make you build AP, it's just so Shen gains some small benefit from items with AP on them like Guinsoo's. The ratio is not good enough to actually go out of your way to build AP.
It's better to have the % enemy max hp damage on his Q to keep his autos always feeling impactful no matter what target he's hitting.
