usually because a lot of fighters have worse innate defense or no dashes, where tanks usually have something that multiplies defensive value like a shield or a resist boost. like if you look at a couple of my champs they have 0 defense steroid, theyr e just big fat fuckin target dummies and without something like Steraks to bail them out once in a while theyd flop hard. riots got a pretty backwards idea of what tank items should be doing, too
