The Way To Play League In Today's World

Constantly fight your laner, even if you are 2 levels under instead of waiting for a gank like a reasonable human being. Then blame your Jungler when he doesn't want to gank for you and puts his time elsewhere.

Is todays League players better than the older players years ago in season 1, 2 and 3? Or was the older set of players much more thoughtful, and played smarter?
