It's almost impossible to carry a game as one jungler when your team has no idea what the fuck they're doing and also doesnt listen to you. One person's good play should have a VASTLY larger impact on a game than it does.

I think that it is very possible to have a huge impact on the game by playing a great macro game, especially from the jungle, where you have the freedom to get lanes fed and stop feeders from feeding.
I regularly win games where my team is far behind in kills/gold because I focus a lot on our win conditions and helping to control objectives and pressure the enemy.
