How the fuck am i supposed to climb if botlane feeds EVERY GAME!

Lmao Get Mooned··6 votes·6,402 views

Every game i play in ranked botlane feeds. When it's not botlane it's another lane. I can count on one hand out of 200 games how many times my laners didnt feed. This is ridiculous.

First thing you should always do is look at what YOU could be doing better rather than blaming others.

So, I took the liberty of looking you up and here's why you're not climbing...

  • Your CS is marginal. 130-160/game with an average game length in the low 30 minute range. If you're not getting a minimum of 200 cs/game you're going to remain in Bronze.

  • Lower your number of deaths. Even an average of one less death per game would go a long way.

  • Play fewer champions! You've played 53 different champs in ranked this season... don't even tell me that you're good with all 53 because you aren't and that's okay! Most people that climb play a few champions extremely skillfully.

So there you have it. Look in the mirror, adjust your attitude and fix YOUR game before you worry about what others are doing.

Your points 3 and 1 are valid but may be contradictory.

I think I can play about 30 champions very skillfully in plat ELO. You want him to get more CS but since lower elos all they think about is countering, him having a variety of champs to CS is a good idea. So if he takes Garen or another melle top, chances are they may pick Teemo or some other shitter. And in bronze elo, the jungle aint coming. So his only hope is to try not to die.

Also bronze is very unbalanced. Its mainly based on MMR which doesnt explain player performance. Some bronzes dont understand they should sit under tower and build defensively after 2 deaths, some do. So you may get stuck fighting a decent bronze player who wont feed his ass off to you, but another player on your team may feed them. this happens all the time when I smurf my silvers to gold and plat. I go mid against a zed or fizz so I do my best to make sure they are dead 80% of the time. I ping my MIA's and I ping on their face danger, they still ignore me, and he goes and last hits both the bot laners, and whalaa now hes caught up on two kills.

Further, youve gotta be kidding me, this guy does well in his matches. The past day was bad, but he gets insane number of assists and kills as jg. Hes going to fall off late game automatically if bot lane feeds faster than he can get fed.

The bottom line is that if you're not climbing it's YOU, not your teammates holding you back.

In a small sample of games, sure---any one game can be unwinnable---but if we're talking 100+ games then the blame rests squarely on you.

It can take up to 200-300 games for a bronze 5 to climb out of bronze with a silver skill level since they arent different at all.

There are about 30% smurfs in silver and gold elo, I cannot imagine how many there are in bronze

Climbing isn't about just doing well in your games, it's about tipping the balance of every close game in your favor. If you're not doing that then you're just going to stagnate.

That is why Scary Door is specifically pointing out things he can work on, because he is the only common factor in all his games. If he actually improves he will climb.

Thank you for the personalized response. Usually if i have more deaths than kills that's because like i said, botlane fed and i get wrecked by a 12/2 jinx. Yes, I do play a lot of champions and im not extremely good with them, but i can play almost every champion at a decent level which is why i do that. Usually if i play a champion that i'm not level 5 with in ranked is because im countering someone. My CS isnt super horrible in laning phase but after that i just completely forget that i need to cs. Definitely something i need to work on.

dude, it's funny how guys like you exist "look at you, play better, watch your mistakes" there's nothing you can do if someone fucking goes 0/5 in 10 mins and then afks or just continues to die.

It's funny how guys like you comment on threads that are more than a year old.

Although the general advice still applies.

Basically what you're saying is there is 0 luck in this game with teammates, except that's not true. Some games are just unwinnable as some have said. What hasn't been said is what if we flip a coin an infinite amount of times. in most scenarios, the average will be somewhere close to 50 heads flips and 50 tails flips. Basically what you're saying is there is no possible way that a person could get bad teammates in most or all of their games, but if we use some basic math skills we know that there could be one person that hits heads all 100 flips and also someone who hits tails all 100 flips. Sure that Basically what I'm getting at is that you are saying that 100% it's the person fault for not being able to climb. What if that person is the 1 in a million who flipped tails 100 times in a row and got screwed. Also on the other side of things, there could be someone who got carried 100 times. Now I agree with you that in MOST cases it's someone's own fault if they're unable to climb, but what if they are actually that person who just got screwed?

most ppl play OP one trick ponnies to climb. Meta champs..they play boring champs, but meta champs just to climb. So dont come here talk about what "I" do wrong.

Ppl feed they arses off bot lane before 5 minute mark, and u cant do a shit in ur lane caus ejungler is also afk...

My 5 last game went like this: bot lane got killed in jungle before minion spawn...when they walk ack to lane they both die again..4 min mark. Enemy jungler camp my top lane, so iam under turret farming. My jungler power farm and dont help...game lost. Thats every fuking game.

so dont come with i know how to be better talk, cause is just bullshit

U have to go 18-5 minimum every game. sorry

They may not be trying to feed, bronze and silver are FULL of smurfs. Your allies are probably people who actually deserve to be in bronze/silver.

get fed yourself and stop crying

Jetjoe1 votes

Youre not, I made a comment below, dont be frustrated about it. ELO hell does exist. And its stronger than ever because of the amount of smurfs and boosters.

Bot lane is a snowball lane, one of the two sides is going to get massively ahead.

the answer is, you have to figure out what you're going to do about it. and then instead of staying in your lane and whining, you pay with your own advantage to go and do it.

an example from my last game. We were winning bot lane heavily (I was the support). The mid lane was constantly pushing and constantly getting killed by enemy jungler. Top lane died once to a gank, and got snowballed on. jungler did nothing useful early on. just farming and doing badly executed ganks which failed.

I started to roam mid, transitioning between mid and bot. failed to stop one gank (damn brand not looking at minimap and falling for obvious gank), then caught the enemy jugnler twice stopping further attempts. Tried ganking the enemy mid 4 times which all fizzled early on (I must have stepped on a ward) but this made the enemy mid lane back off and their stopped their jungler's camp, allowing our mid to farm up.

In the mean time the ADC was holding on 1v2 with his lead. He got jumped a couple of times but i managed a couple of clutch saves and he survived mostly and twice was able to convert into kills. bonus points for me: I perfected "just in time" roaming.

What our bot lane did to convert lane advantage to strategic advantage: support begin roaming to apply pressure in other lanes. ADC defends towers successfully to stall out game. support roaming creates local power shifts that open up the game, allowing jungler, mid and top to participate in "plays" that happen either when our side is aggressive of when the other team attempts to capitalize on an "abandoned" ADC.

from other team's perspective:

top lane was winning heavily, whereas bot lane was losing heavily. Top lane pushed and pushed and pushed and eventually forced mid and jungler and finally even ADC and support to chase him around. with 2 people chasing him constantly and often not catching him even, his team was expected (and indeed managed) to initiate 4v3 and get an objective.

eventually he was fooled into joining his team and 5v5. It was probably after we got good at killing him. At which point my team began to win.

Well by definition, just 50% of the bot lanes in your game fed. The other 50% got fed. Too bad they were playing for the other team.
