Bruisers could have been played bot lane before this patch

Riot "nerfed" late-game crit ADCs and all of a sudden bot lane is "open to so much variety!" for champions like that dominate in the early to mid game. If bruisers can be played into Lucian/Kai'Sa/Draven/Ezreal in the early game right now, do you really think they would have had any problems against crit ADCs without their crit items before this patch? Are Caitlyn or Xayah with B.F.Sword and Zeal that much weaker in lane than they were a month ago? Ziggs and Brand were perfectly viable before the crit changes.

This all just sounds like a placebo effect to me.

Marksmen mains are notoriously incapable of adapting to change.

It makes sense that the sky would fall during the month after a major ADC itemization nerf that brought them up to par compared to other classes itemizations.

yea I thought the same thing. It just made it acceptable to "troll" bot

ADCs are now more vulnerable to poke(which is not something bruisers are known for) and slightly stronger versus all ins due to increased hp

They nerfed ADCs base AD, which makes them bully less early levels, and lowered their armor and Hp regen, which makes damage done to them less easily recovered.

This makes playing bruisers against them an option since they won't be poked to shit pre-level 3 like it used to happen.

Bruiser bot lanes mght work if (IF) you get a pair with some power t force the fight on there terms. Renekton with his dashing, Darius with his displacement, that sort of thing. Don't try it with Garen, even with the Q boost you'll just give them a red flag to retreat as you try to charge in.

bruiser bot lanes have always worked well with a good ranged support with heavy engage like Zyra Lux Morgana Xerath it just makes it more evident and accessible now that adcs are weak atm.
